Hagrid's come into the bar for a bite to eat, and a cold tankard of beer. He's in a cheerful mood today, as usual.
And still looking for people to try out his pumpkin boats out on the lake. Any takers?
[ooc: internet connection is dodgy today - may disappear suddenely for short periods of time, or even all together, but mun is happy to slowtime if that happens]

pumpkinboat feel good after such a long time land-bound.However, it is very hot out, and the water looks fairly inviting...
Caspian glances back at shore, wondering what Hagrid would think if he just flipped over.

Before he can call out to ask Caspian what he's up to, the boat tips alarmingly...
and suddenly the boat is empty!

"Might want to work on that balance, there, Hagrid," he calls out, laughing.

"Scares the heck outta me, Caspian," he calls over the water.
The boat his rocking slightly in the water, but otherwise looks fine.
"They did tell yeh about the giant squid, din't they?"

Blaise had said something about a squid, hadn't he?

"Mr. Julia Fruitnugget," Hagrid says with a cheerful nod. "Yeh probably don' have much ter worry about."

He can, he figures, take on a giant squid if he needs to, so he spends a few more minutes happily diving and splashing around before climbing back into the punkin shell and rowing back towards shore.

"How it work for yeh? Any adjustments need ter be made?" He asks, as he pulls the boat up onto the shore when it's close enough.

"It's a little bumpy if you don't know how to balance in the water, but she's so round that you couldn't flip her at all, unless you were trying to."

He takes a small carving knife from his pocket and carves "King Caspian" in the side, near the top.
"Now folks kin tell which ones have bin tried already, an' are safe ter take out. O' course, yer welcome ter take it out any time atall, until it decides ter rot or summat. I tried a couple o' different charms ter keep that from happenin'."
Hagrid eye Caspuian's dripping clothes. "I ain't very good at dryin' charms. Yeh'd better go on an' get changed before yeh catch summat."
Assuming the dead can get sick.

"Thanks for letting me try her, Hagrid! See you soon!"
