*Meg heads into the bar from out back, grabs a coffee and settles at a table for her afternoon break. She still looks tired, but not nearly so much as yesterday.*

- you're Stampy, right? *she says, rather worried.* I'm having a hard time keeping track of all the tiny elephants these days -

Rearing up on her hind legs, she places her flattened front feet on Meg's knee, trunk extending towards Meg's hand.

You don't mind me taking up some of your living space, do you?

*She tugs absently on a lock of hair.* I was actually hoping to talk to you today -

"You were? What about?"
no subject
- actually, I wanted to talk to you about the Phantom. Susan said someone had been - I dunno, bitten by a Phantom? Or something? Turned into a were-Phantom? It all sounded awfully dodgy -

After she finishes her interpretation of what happened, he starts laughing. "Not... not quite. Far as I've pieced it together, something was going around fucking with people's personalities, and Roger got caught in the rafters bothering Susan and Cuthbert. Faith threw him in the cells for a while, thinking he'd been doing that stuff the whole time, but... hell, he's barely social enough to start conversations, never mind stalk people. Between talking to him and me, she figured he didn't mean it, and the other night aside, it can't have been him the whole time. That business started a good two weeks before he even got here."

*Meg does a bit of staring.* Huh. That's like the last thing I would've expected. I know it couldn't've been him the whole time, though, 'cause stuff happened Friday when he was locked up -

- oh, hey, Angie. How're you?

*She asks, sipping her drink.*

*She says grinning. She finnaly takes a proper look at Meg and notices dark circles under her eyes. Her face furrows in concern for her friend.*
So how are you?

*She asks raising an eyebrow. Meg has been known to lie when when it comes to her own well being.*
