There is a boy - looking to be about fourteen - standing in the doorway.

Behind black-rimmed glasses, his eyes flick over the patrons curiously. Many, many humans - many also not so human - some...

Hmm.

Harth Fray comes further in, letting the door shut behind him.

The vampire watches the bar silently.

Harth glances down.

Cat.

Or... the young vampire frowns. It looks like a cat, smells like a cat, but... Probably nothing. He smiles slightly, and scratches it delicately behind the ear.

Little point in being cruel to animals, after all.

*The cat leans against the scritching hand, purring loudly in pleasure. It is a very white cat, indeed. Mrrwrring blissfully, it opens its unnaturally bright green eyes and looks up at Harth.*

Harth meets its eyes as he scratches lightly, feeling of difference growing stronger...

"So (what) who are you then?" he asks it softly.

*The cat purrs and leans harder against the scritching hand, mrring.*

*The kid looks just enough like a younger Tim Hunter to give Andrew pause, as he's passing by.*

*His gaze moves automatically to the kid's forehead. No, no lightning-bolt scar either...*

*With a shrug, he steps over.*

Hi. You new here?

Harth looks up, and his gaze lingers on Andrew's face.

"...Yeah," he says, as he continues looking intently. "What kind of tav is it, anyway?"

He knows that face.

It's called Milliways. The bar at the end of the universe.

*Andrew gestures at the observation window, smiling. It isn't often he gets to do the introductory spiel.*

The boy - almost reluctantly - looks away from Andrew, and at the window.

And just for a second his eyes widen in awe, delight behind them - before there is calculation in that gaze too.

"Well ain't that just... rocketship," he grins.

It's pretty cool, yeah.

The vampire watches the vampire silently.

He's at the corner of the bar, sipping his meal, but the lack of heartbeat had immediately made him watch the newcomer. Certainly, he held no animosity towards vampires; he was good friends with many from all sorts of different worlds. But this one has him on edge.

And Harth senses the other lurk too - this one is older than him, by far. Different, too. More powerful. Might be worth watching.

He nods politely enough to the older vampire but does not approach. No reason for that.

Nick nods in response before cocking his head ever so slightly: an invitation of sorts. He smiles, politely, and sips at his dinner and does nothing more.

The boy makes his way over slowly, curious.

Evidently the other was following the rules - no violence. Blood from a glass? Weird thought, unless some kind of ritual was being done.

He smiles at Harth pleasantly enough, though there is of course something of a show of teeth to the gesture. He's certainly following the rules; he always has. But that doesn't change the fact that Harth is an unknown, something he plans to change.

"Welcome to Milliways."

He gestures to the stool next to him.

"Can I get you something to eat or drink?"

Ah, observe the newbie in its not-so-natural habitat. Xander is feeling a lot of goodwill for the whole of mankind since the recovery of his eye, and ambles over with a grin.

"Hey there, buddy! Should've made that left at Albuquerque, huh?"

Harth tilts his head ever-so-slowly at the bouncy human.

...Wait. He knows this one, just like Wells...

"Hi," he says, with a faint smirk.

Xander blinks.

"Well, hey, you're uh, adjusting well," he says. "You ever been here before and/or are a being of phenomenal power who doesn't get surprised by this kind of stuff?"

"Hmmm... neither, really," the boy says, with a smirk that belies that. "Just cope well... Xander."

Same time as Andrew Wells, this one had been around. And now in a bar at the end of the universe.

Completely spun.

He stares, checks his shirt quickly to ensure that he is not wearing a nametag, and stares some more.

"... Psychic?"

"Get you a drink?"

The boy blinks.

...

Well, why not?

"You serve vampires, right?" Harth says with a grin, sitting at the bar.

"House rules, we have to serve everyone. We even have a special handbook for it. To Serve Everyone"

Harth smiles pleasantly.

"Even underage ones? Rocketship."

"Well, sadly no. Bar won't let us give out drinks to people underage for their homeworld or....time
