There's a Sidhe princess in the bar.
She's been feeling sorry for herself and been keeping to herself. There's dark shadows under her eyes and a quiet tiredness around her. Now she's sitting in a arm chair and curled up around a book. Tea and breakfast next to her.
Feel free to bother!
[OOC: Mun is here all day but might be a bit slow, baby and babysitting..god save me from highhanded 9 year olds]

Random's clutching 'The Kraken Wakes' to his chest, holding a mug of coffee.

"It's one of my comfort books" She says with a smile "about the rise of the Cesar family in rome..pre Empire.."
She blinks at his "Whats that then?"
no subject
Did that make any sense at all? He isn't sure.

"It is. Surprisingly good, actually. And you?"
no subject
A deep breath. "So what has been going on?" Quiet, gentle.
no subject
Perfectly neutral.
"It's been weird."
This, with a little affection in the tone.
no subject
"Weird good, or weird bad?"

A faery, and a princess. A witch, and a girl and an enchantress.
Whatever else she is or may be, she's a remarkably pretty, fine-boned girl peering at Merry with dreamy, otherworldly eyes.

"Morning"

Then the perception changes.
Powerful eyes, eyes that see pasts and futures and presents, throught curses and pretences.
Fey eyes.
"Morning."
no subject
"How are you?" Her face and eyes pleasant and polite.
no subject
A little grin.
"Curious, princess."
no subject
It seems a reasonable question to her.

First the cheerful sounding voice, and then he notes her face,
"'Thought it can, of course, wait."
no subject
"No no we do have a appointment..where shall we go?"
no subject
He offers her his arm politely.
no subject
"That sounds fine"

He walks her out the back door, toward the shore of the lake. Definitely far enough away from the stables that they won't spook the horses. Letting her arm free he paces a circle of about fifteen feet in diameter, then pauses,
"Do you mind if we ward the circle? There are children who come to the bar, and it might be best to make certain that they will not fall afoul of our knives."
no subject
"Sure..I mean I don't really know how to do that..well I do for our duels at home but that..means that it would be a true duel and not just a practice one. First blood, second blood, third blood.."
no subject
"I'll drop it when we are done. First blood, second blood, third blood? This is not a practice of my lands."
no subject
"First blood means to the first blood..you cut lips and then kiss one another and it wards the circle. Second means until the one can no longer fight..you slice wrists and put them together to strengthen the warding. Third blood is until the death. That is a nick to the throat."
She shrugs and watches him.
