In a booth, Charlie is trying to feed Seth from a jar of crushed plums. Seth has several purple-ish blobs on his face, and has gotten very little of the fruit into his mouth. Woe.

He sings some other silly children's song that the mun can't think of, all the while grinning at Seth's giggles.

"You're a bard, then, or, what do you call them on Earth, a musician?" she asks, with the admiration that a pre-modern culture affords anybody who can make music.

Ginevra puts down the empty plum jar and smiles triumphantly.

"Tye? I knew a bloke called Tye. Amazing singer. He used to come in here but doesn't anymore."

She puts down the spoon and grins at Seth. What a good little fellow - there isn't even one speck of plum on her pale blue dress.

"The time thing does get confusing," Charlie agrees.

"Sorry - you probably like that god, just as Claire does, so don't take it personal," she adds, referring to her last remark.

Ginevra's voice has as much expression as a stone dropping into the depths of the lake, and about that much finality, too.
"You must excuse me; this continues to 'weird me out', as people here says," she finally adds.
The Seker. Silly.

She eyes Seth. "That little fellow looks about ready to go to sleep - of course if the want to, no noise in the world is going to keep them from it."

"And I have a hard time imaging him as purple fire," Charlie says, smiling. "He's very real here. One might even say human."

Seth, of course, is totally unique as well, being as he is a very gifted little empath.
"He seems to revel in being as human as possibly," she says, meaning Asar-Suti; but really, she is distracted by the prettiness of Seth's slowly blinking eyes.

This young bard and father calls the Seker 'Suti.
"If the legends are true, he was a human before he became a god; he must have 'risen above' the human with the hubris it takes to become a Dark God," she muses. "I might think this is a kind of punishment, but he seems to be enjoying himself. Even digging in the ground in the garden."

"Humanity's better. Though I've met some gods here who aren't so bad. Not horribly intimidating."

"There's a god here named Jack who can turn into a tree," Charlie says, apropos of nothing.
no subject
"A god names Jack?" she asks, smiling. "Sounds very unpretentious, somehow."
no subject
"I suppose that's a good word for it. He's kind of . . . well, Seth's mum likes him."
no subject
Still, not a speck of plum on her dress, she notices, discreetly checking her skirts.
[[OOC: Because mun must sleep soon! Thanks for the RP. *hugs*]]

Seth yawns and rubs his eyes.
