Re-Entrance Post.

Peter walks into the place, looking pretty wiped, also slimed in various spots on his uniform, though he avoided his hair.
"Whew, made it!" He trudges up to his room to drop off his gear, and get changed.

A while later, he's got a big mug of coffee, a thick packet of notes, his notebooks, and some food.

He's keeping an eye for familiar faces, especially another Ghostbuster he needs to pass the notes onto.

"It's okay. It could've been worse. And at least we did meet- can you imagine what I'd've gone through at Columbia if you hadn't been there? I mean, I just turned fifteen that year..." Ray shakes his head.

Peter shrugged, "No idea, rather not think about it." He knew that if he hadn't met the guys he probably would ended up being a con man like his old man, or worse.

Ray nodded. "Probably for the best." He didn't mention the fact that he'd still have wound up doing the paranormal schtick anyway, if only because his roommate was Michael Draverhaven- a fact he did his best to keep carefully mentally shielded.

"Oh, back on the training note- have you actually seen Master Windu lately? I've been doing all the practicing he wanted, like I said, but I'm probably going to be pursuing further studies with one of the other Jedi Masters who turns up here from time to time..."

"Yeah." He nodded. Better not to think of the what if's. That gets tiring.

Peter then said, "Uh not lately no. Been getting help where I can find it. And there's others in here?"

Ray nodded. "I haven't seen Yoda since the first day he turned up here," he said, "but Qui-GOn Jinn- Obi-Wan Kenobi's old master- is around a lot. He's one of the dead ones, but he's got a body and stuff instead of being a blue Force ghost like the ones in the movies. He's really cool. I think Anakin's a Master now, too, but I don't know how you'd feel about practicing with somebody who used to be Darth Vader, even if he is a good person now who seems to've made up for his old crimes over the course of a very long time. And of course, there's Luke himself, but I haven't met him yet. Tahiri and Jaina trained under him, I think."

"Not sure, I guess I'll talk to them all, see how it goes. Since this PK thing's going more into their territory, isn't it? Wonder how the ghosty sense would work with their Force though if at all."

Ray nodded. "I got a PKE measurement on at least one aspect of the Force- Master Qui-Gon levitated a cup across the Bar for me so I could see the numbers. It's way out on the end of the PKE spectrum- I mean, we can barely even measure it, but there it is. Fascinating stuff. Master Qui-Gon's currently got my copy of Tobin's Spirit GUide, since I was talking about my world's ghosts and he wanted to see what they were like."

Qui-Gon is probably Ray's favorite Jedi in the entire bar, and it shows.

Peter nodded, "So maybe Master Qui-Gon's the way to go, huh?"

He then realized something, "Oh crap, and I can't believe you didn't think of it. I think you're slipping, Ray. Want me to try the PK trick again, only with your meter this time?"

"He might be, yeah," Ray said. "I mean no offense to Master Windu, but the guy scares me sometimes. I'm sure he's a brilliant and powerful Jedi, but there's something about him that makes me nervous."

"... I meant to have it out when you did that bit with the pencil, Peter. I'm sorry." Blame it on his mun being overheated. "Okay, here, we're set- let's see you do it now."

"He seemed all right mostly, but kind of see what you mean. Reminds of me of some of my professors."

Peter then nodded, only he tried the pencil from being still to see if it works. It shivered a little, twitching back and forth, and then started rolling on its own. Just before it got to the edge, it paused, and then rolled back a bit faster this time.

"Maybe it's just me, then. I got the creeps around different members of the Endless than you did, too."

He settled back to watch the meter's numbers, nodding. "Interesting. That's pretty impressive, Pete- you're definitely going up in strength, if the readings here are anything to go by."

"Yeah, at least the ones I met creeped me out. They might all be like that to me." Desire and Dream certainly gave him the heebies-jeebies. And he definitely didn't want to meet Delirium. And not thrilled about talking to Death either.

Peter continued with moving the pencil around as he spoke. It was now spinnning slowly on the table. Though the movement was a bit more jerky and erratic now.

Ray's eyes drifted from the meter to the pencil, and then up to hsi friend's face. "Do me a favor," he said thoughtfully. "Try and call something pleasant into your mind as you're fooling with the pencil. I want to see what effect that has."

Peter blinked in surprise, and the pencil shuddered a little in response. He then nodded in agreement, and attempted to do so. Something pleasent. *Dana, The guys. Home. Dana.* The pencil was spinning languidly for a moment, and it shuddered again before it lifted off the surface, and continued spinning a half inch above the table. It was spinning faster, but seemed smoother.

"Interesting," Ray said, glancing briefly from meter to pencil. "Considering what your previous demonstrations of PK with negative emotional influnece looked like, that's a pretty impressive sight. You might want to keep that kind of thing in mind from now on when you're practicing- look at the difference it's making."

Peter was focused on the pencil, so he only vaguely heard Ray's comments.

"Huh?" And the pencil clattered on the table, and rolled off onto the floor.

Realizing what was said before, he added, "I guess so. Already found out it does respond to any strong emotion. The four feet above the sheets? Had an easier time controlling it, too."

"Ya-heh. Pete? That's more than I wanted to know, okay?"

Peter shrugged, and grinned, "So guess this means, I think enough happy thoughts, and I can fly too." He laughed a little.

After all, Venkman's considered to have a Peter Pan complex anyway, might as well go for broke.

"... just as long as I don't have to think about you having them, we'll all be fine, won't we?"

Peter did a mock pout, "Aww, no happy thoughts for Ray? C'mon, it's easy! One, two, three, and away you go!"

"And yet, I'm the one who's supposed to be a kid in a grownup's body," Ray says, shaking his head in wonder. "Okay, okay, I get the picture. We'll have to test you on flying at some point."

He clarified, "You are a kid in a grown-up body. I'm just an older kid in an older grown-up body." *Well, not that old anymore.*

Peter nodded, "Yeah, maybe I won't have to go the bird route to fly like an eagle after all."

Ray nods. "If you do manage to get yourself flying under your own power, I do have to ask you just one thing..."

"What?"

Ray levels a finger at Peter and says, very firmly,

"No capes."
