There is a sparkly Raven sitting in the bar.

He looks very studious, writing in his notebook.

Ask him about the body glitter, or the nail polish.

Or take a cookie. He's got those, too. And tea.

"Sit, if you like. At the moment, I have nothing but time."

He smiles, and gestures to a chair.

"Thank you." He sits and does indeed retrieve a cookie.

"So what fairy did you offend? Because that doesn't look like Puck's handy work" He asks facetiously, with a grin.

Raven laughs.

"No Fae were offended. I was being morose, and Ace offered to distract me. I am quite distracted, I admit."

"And you are certainly distracting. I've met Ace a few times, but I don't think she'd make me sparkly. Be more likely to set me on fire I'd expect."

He smiles and gestures at the notebook. "So what are you working on?"

Raven grins.

"Patterns, for spells. I have some students, here, and this may eventually prove useful."

A pause, and he tilts his head.

"How have you been keeping yourself?"

"Much better now that I am no longer on cleaning duty." He smiles.

"You have students of magic? Any one I should be afraid of?"

So long as he's not teaching Ramon.

*Grin*

Raven tilts his head.

"Everyone is to be feared, at times. As of this moment, however, I suspect the answer is no."

A smile

"That is good to hear. How have you been, besides sparkly?"

"I have been doing well enough, I think. Maudlin is not a good look on me."

"Yourself?"

*Blink* "Still well enough, and I would agree about the look. So, who are you teaching? If I am permitted to ask?" He does ask. Curiously in fact.

"You may always ask me questions."

He smiles, slightly.

"I teach everyone, sooner or later. Or so it seems, at times."

A lovely non-answer, really.

-beat-
"So you teach everybody, eventually, occasionally. Got it.
Well, I look forward to our first lesson, in the future, sometime, perhaps."
He smiles.

"Look backward. We have already had it."

Andres tilts his head. He still feels like a parrot when he does it, except now he can't look at Raven upside down.

"Perhaps so. I did not learn much from the mayflies." *Shrug*

"I am learning much about these humans from Earth. Though not much of it am I liking."

Another headtilt.

"Would you care to elaborate? I often enjoy their company."

Raven avoids mentioning the mayflies. Perhaps all his advice should not be trusted.

*Shrug* "So do I for the most part, but I am starting to feel that they, by and large, instantly dislike anyone or anything who is different. It is a silly way to think in my opinion."

Raven raises an eyebrow.

"This is true of many people, human or not. It is a sorry thing."

"The people of my home do not tend to judge others based on the flavor of their relationships or where they are from. There are of course exceptions, but as a whole we are understanding. We also do not tend to tell our friends that they cannot help us with our problems. I am sorry ramble like this. You must get sick of me rather quickly."

He smiles and sits quietly for a moment, thinking.

"Random didn't seem to disagree too strongly." He chuckles inwardly. "Oh, I'm sorry, do you know Random? I do not mean to have a conversation with myself."

Raven smiles.

"I know Random rather well, yes. I like him."

Andres smiles as well.

"As do I. He is a good man."

Much to his amazement, Andres does not feel himself blush.
