"Wha?" April finally turned to look at him, all confusion for a few seconds until she realized what he meant. And then, she smiled, fingers pressed against her lips as if they would stave off the giggle that was threatening to escape.
"Yeah, you're right." Oh, but it was difficult to keep a straight face, and she was failing miserably at it. She was just beaming in amusement up at him with the sort of expression generally reserved for children and small, fuzzy animals. "So how about I just ask you a regular question?"
"I hope not." She couldn't very well make a promise she didn't know she could keep, now could she? "If you say something really off-color, maybe we can just compromise and I'll pour my beer on your head, how about that?"
"I'm not telling you, so just forget it. And don't ask Mikey, either, because he doesn't know."
Oh, now wasn't that a brilliant thing to say? At least she didn't finish the last sentence with "that it wasn't you." It then occurred to her that Raph didn't know-know, not about it actually happening. She had just gotten herself into so much trouble. She'd never told Mikey not to tell.

You ain't gonna freak out an' smack me when I answer, are you? 'Cause I'd hate to lock you up if you did.

*He almost sounds like Casey. It's really the only impression Raph does.*

"So, let's say..." April waved her hand. "Let's say someone was interested in me."

"Not anything serious or anything. Just-" April halted and shrugged in an attempt to keep up the calm facade. "Well, you know."

*Ahh the twist. The fun games they all played with April's unwitting boy toys.*

"Don't suppose there's a chance you'd leave him alone, is there?" Why was there a part of her that wanted him to say no?

Translation: Yes.

Been a while, wonder if I still remember how to play.

She was looking at him now, but her expression had gotten lost somewhere on the way to stern and ended up just to the right of concerned.
Maybe she liked it. Maybe she wanted it. That validation. Maybe it was the only thing she knew.

*It was half way to a whine.*

*Oh he just walked right into that one.*
