Archie's got a booth. And a scotch. He's sitting in the booth, he's just staring at the scotch.

"She damn well insisted."

Oops, too much information. Archie blushes fiercely.

"Tensions were high. Jason came to still as a wolf as Arithon had me pressed against the wall by my throat, and Svava's hand was bleeding, and well, things were said in anger and she slapped him. And Arithon hes apparently dicided that this means that he should dissasociate himself with her."

Archie's of the opinion that Arithon just put up with him for Svava's sake, so it goes without saying that he now wants less than nothing to do with Archie.

She was protective of her man being absued and he's upset? Good lord, what are people thinking these days?

Archie pinches the bridge of his nose, leaning his elbow on the table.

"It's... complicated..."

No, really?

"I'm not sure how to make things right with any of them."

*Tim leans forward.*

Obviously, this fellow has some very obvious preconcieved notions that he doesn't seem likely to change. As an outside view, I can safely say you have done nothing wrong.

"He certainly has those. But he is a good man, and I feel terribly guilty to have been the one to cause this rift between them."

He shakes his head and gives Tim a rueful little smile.

"But I thank you, Tim. I think I needed someone to say that in so many words."
