The door opens, and a barefoot young fellow enters, looking somewhat surprised.
"... right, see, this is not where I was expecting to end up," he mutters, looking around curiously.
Powerful curious young fellow, this one.
He doesn't look particularly concerned, though, no matter how curious he might be.

He laughs.
"I suppose I should not be surprised to see you here. It is oddly fitting."
He is wearing . . . body glitter?

"Do you want cookies of your own? I fear mine are not fancy enough, for one such as yourself."
no subject
"Why, whatever do you mean? You know me, I'm a simple creature, really..."
no subject
A pause.
"Though not for lack of trying."
This is Raven's stern face. Isn't it a fearsome thing?
no subject
"Ahh, but if that's so, then surely whatever sort of cookies would suit you would serve me just as well, wouldn't they?"
He grins at Raven.
no subject
He shrugs, still grinning.

Rabbit pouts, just a little.
"You set yourself up for it so well, what else am I supposed to do?"
no subject
Raven rolls his eyes at the ridiculousness of that thought.
"Would that we had elders, to chastise you."
He attempts to look lofty and pure.
no subject
"Ooooh, that one must have taken some practice, to get a look like that going. You're doing pretty well. Needs a bit of work around the edges, though."
He does not attempt to demonstrate, but rather steals another cookie.
no subject
"I merely copy from the Master. Cute and harmless has never been a virtue ascribed to me."
He pokes Rabbit with his foot, again.
no subject
Erm, wait. Well.
Something like that, anyway.
Rabbit reaches out and catches Raven's foot in warning. "Oi. Stop that, or I'll be forced to do something you won't like."
no subject
He folds his legs beneath himself, then, and tilts his head.
"There. I am no longer infringing on your personal space."
He pulls his plate of cookies closer.
He is not attempting to hoard them.
No.
no subject
This is not a clever ruse to make him catch them and therefore lose dominion over the plate of cookies.
Of course not.
"Pity," Rabbit says, stealing a third cookie anyway. "It's been too long since I've had cause to tickle you. You probably need it."
no subject
Another headtilt.
"Perhaps I am biased."
He takes a cookie of his own, and eats it.
no subject
"Ace...?"
no subject
He is unconcerned, eating a cookie.

The blithe tone of voice is moderately amusing, perhaps.
"I missed being silly."
no subject
"I like her already. When do I get to meet her?"
no subject
He smiles.
"She's a pyro. You should get along well, perhaps."
A beat.
"Coyote likes her."
no subject
He looks at least a little surprised.
no subject
"She is. She gets very vexed with me. Never fight a Faerie King on her watch."
no subject

no subject
"No, no, go on. Tell me about this Fairie King person."
no subject
"It is a long story, so I will make it short. He bargained with That One for enough power to save his people, with predictable results. He went mad, kidnapped some friends of the Puck, and yesterday evening we went and got them back. With the aid of a mortal wizard Oberon's compact with That One was broken, and he fled. I am not sure if he will return--though I wonder what he will be if he does."

And kitsune have no idea of personal space.
And a lot of males are darling cute when they blush.
There is a kitsune-glomp and a full on kiss on the lips-
And just as quick, Laini is sauntering away, silver fox tail twitching.
"Welcome to Milliways."
no subject
Now that is not Wisakedjak, and I don't think I mind the change, he thinks to himself, grinning.
He may or may not be "darling cute," but he surely isn't blushing.

Sarah blinked up from her seat at the bar, then blinked again, tucking her hair behind her ear to make sure she wasn't hallucinating.
Once she was sure she wasn't, she grinned and waved, seeming quite cheery for someone so surrounded by crumpled notebook pages.
