The door opens, and a barefoot young fellow enters, looking somewhat surprised.
"... right, see, this is not where I was expecting to end up," he mutters, looking around curiously.
Powerful curious young fellow, this one.
He doesn't look particularly concerned, though, no matter how curious he might be.

He folds his legs beneath himself, then, and tilts his head.
"There. I am no longer infringing on your personal space."
He pulls his plate of cookies closer.
He is not attempting to hoard them.
No.

This is not a clever ruse to make him catch them and therefore lose dominion over the plate of cookies.
Of course not.
"Pity," Rabbit says, stealing a third cookie anyway. "It's been too long since I've had cause to tickle you. You probably need it."

Another headtilt.
"Perhaps I am biased."
He takes a cookie of his own, and eats it.

"I missed being silly."

"I like her already. When do I get to meet her?"
no subject
He smiles.
"She's a pyro. You should get along well, perhaps."
A beat.
"Coyote likes her."
no subject
He looks at least a little surprised.

"She is. She gets very vexed with me. Never fight a Faerie King on her watch."

"No, no, go on. Tell me about this Fairie King person."

"It is a long story, so I will make it short. He bargained with That One for enough power to save his people, with predictable results. He went mad, kidnapped some friends of the Puck, and yesterday evening we went and got them back. With the aid of a mortal wizard Oberon's compact with That One was broken, and he fled. I am not sure if he will return--though I wonder what he will be if he does."
