Random's in the bar. He looks surprisingly well rested, though rather bothered.

You could ask him what about.

You might not get an answer, but you could ask.

He'd enjoy the company.

[Edit: Andres and Random discuss everything; Gorlim and Lee's motivations for their behaviour, sleeping and waking up, and whether or not Andres is joking, and what the exact meaning is of sticking out your tongue at someone. After that, they head off to Random's home via Tarot to spend the night together. Also, Duo and Random discuss the recent evens with Oberon, and his envolvement in Random's out of milliways life.]

"Of course."

He gestures ildly at the booth seat across from him. When he speaks, his voice is quiet.

"Has either of them apologized yet?"

Andres frowns.

"Well I-, yes. He tried, but I wasn't ready to hear it. I sent him away."

He looks like he might feel a little bit guilty about it, but not too much.

He frowns back.

"Be careful with that. I understand exactly what you feel, and would probably be the same. But if you push away too heard, they might stop trying."

He shakes his head, mostly at himself.

"Want something to drink?"

He nods. "Yes, please." He sits finally.

"And what if I want them to stop trying?" He asks cooley.

Random winces, and shrugs.

"Then you'll have broken a heart, or perhaps two. It's up to you."

But it's clear that he's rather disturbed by the question. That hadn't occured to him, till now.

He nods.

"And is that any worse than what they did to me?" It is a sincere question.

He laughs, rather forcedly. "What is this, preschool? An eye for an eye? You're better than that, Andres."

He shrugs.

"It's probably the same thing. Though I spoke with both of them, and I assure you, neither felt less pain than you in the aftermath of their actions."

He smirks. "Am I? Perhaps not. Maybe they were right about me. I can be a cruel bastard at times too. Mayhap they just saw that before you and I did."

Yes, what he did to Castle, and the way he felt afterward, is bothering him. He's finding guilt nearly as unpleasant as Ramon. However coupled with the pain, it's beginning to dull into a cold lack of caring.

Random eyes him, carefully.

"Andres, you're scaring me. Please stop this."

He can see parts of the Castillian closing down. And it's frightening.

His expression softens a little.

He shrugs.

"I will try."

"Thank you."

He rubs idly at his throat, and lets his eyes fall shut.

"Finished Titus yet?"

"Couple times over."

Another shrug.

"It's the same each time."

"'Life isn't one damned thing after another. It's the same damned thing over and over.' I can't remember who said that, but it stuck in my mind."

He smiles, wearily.

*Snort*

"Yeah, I'm starting to notice that." He says solemnly.

Random winces.

"I've certainly noticed recurring patterns, over the years."

"Great. At least I know what I have to look forward to."

He grins.

"Things go down, but they inevitably go up again."

He grins back.

"It's like a really badly timed yo yo."

*A smile and a shrug*

"Unfortunately I wont get nine thousand years worth of practice to learn to yo yo."

"Ah, you get the swing of it. There're only two directions it could possibly go, right?"

He rolls his eyes.

"Occasionally, you hit yourself in the nose. But that's yo yo for you."

*Blink*

He raises an eyebrow.

"I see, well yes. I guess it is to be expected. That's very. . .encouraging."

"Really? Wow. That's good."

He mimicks Andres's eyebrow movement with a smile.

"I'd hoped it would be."

All right now he's just getting an eyeroll.

"Glad that worked out for you."

He smiles as well.

"Things always work out for me. By hook, or by crook."

He grins.

"Hang around me long enough and it might turn out to be contageous."

"You don't need to make that suggestion twice."

"I just hope that's all you've got that might prove contageous."

*Grin*

That earns him a reproachful glance.

"I've been living under water for the past century. You don't need to worry about anything being in my system. THe merfolk and I don't get along."
