In a magical Millitime wherein Crowley is not upstairs in Lilly and Mel's hot tub (hur hur hur), he's in the bar. Likely with tea - or maybe coffee - and probably still going over those Academy plans.
He's probably distractable, though.
He's probably distractable, though.

Actually, it's far more likely that he recognizes the technology that Crowley is holding in his hands, and that it might be a good idea to introduce himself.
"Hello, sir."

He looks up from a small web highlighting the main power network of the Academy, plus main and auxiliary control rooms.
"Oh, er. Hi."

He pauses, eyeing Mal appraisingly, and then raises an eyebrow.
"Serenity?"

"What of 'er?"

He stands, offering his hand.
"Crowley. I may've offered my services with regard to a certain Heroic Mission."
no subject
"Pleased to meet ya, then. So - how's it that you came to volunteering for doom and destruction?"
no subject
He sits back down, inviting Mal to do the same with a wave of his hand.
"Got to know River. Reminds me of someone I used to know. And then Roland explained to me about, you know, the Beams, and the Tower, and it... made sense to me. And I thought, well, shit, everyone needs a hobby - mine might as well be saving the world. Required practical experience, and all."
no subject
"So this is the point I'm gonna say welcome and ask you if you have any wonderfully insightful opinions about attacking a fortress."
no subject
He leans forward, in order to better point out something on the map.
"Here's a docking bay. Fairly near, a control room, which I assume might be a good idea to muck up, to turn off... I don't know, security cameras, or whatever internal defences they have, or make sure they can't do anything nasty to us with airlocks, or whatever. Then here, the 'power core', which - I don't know much about twenty-sixth century technology, but that sounds volatile and blow-up-able, if we're looking to take this place down. All near each other."
He then switches the blueprints about on the table.
"Then here, what's labelled as the main staff quarters - which probably includes security guards, am I right? All the way almost on the other side of the station. We attack at mealtimes, like Roland says, most everyone'll either be in the dining halls - " he points to them " - or way the fuck over in the staff quarters. Leaving us as clear a path and as long a time as we're likely to get to get the job done."
He snorts slightly, running his eyes over the layout.
"I didn't know any better, I'd say whoever designed this place was on our side."
no subject
"These plans do give me more of a happy about this whole mess than is prudent, I'll admit."

"Oscar! Get back here!" Peter's still shocked at how fast those little legs can move. He finally caught the squirming, and laughing child. "Don't scare me like that! Your mother would murder me if something happened to you."
He then realized where they had stopped, and commented, "Uh, sorry about that."
He stared a little when he got a good look at the strange man, and held Oscar a little tighter.
no subject
"No bother - at least yours doesn't bite."
no subject
Well it's Milliways, so probably true.
He glanced down at Oscar, but the toddler didn't seem troubled. In fact the little boy waved a little with his free hand.
Huh...?
And Oscar certainly didn't like Viggy, so maybe this guy was ok?

"Oh this one doesn't need sugar. This is all on his own."
He then felt compelled to ask, "You're not human, are you?" It was more of a statement than a question.
no subject
"Me? Not so much."
He offers his hand, but thinks the better of it, considering that the other man's are currently full of toddler.
"Crowley. Demon."
no subject
Then again, his only experience with demons, was with one named Watt, and resulted in his other self's possession. *points to icon*

"I didn't think it was that obvious."
no subject
"Dealt with one before in my work, but you don't seem like a typical one."

Oscar said happily, "Crow!"
Peter glanced down at Oscar, "And obviously Oscar here seems to like you, so not like the ones I've run into."
