(no subject)

In a magical Millitime wherein Crowley is not upstairs in Lilly and Mel's hot tub (hur hur hur), he's in the bar. Likely with tea - or maybe coffee - and probably still going over those Academy plans.

He's probably distractable, though.

Peter commented, "No, he's past that." Well, Oscar's currently chewing on his fingers, but not that much with the biting. "More just hyper now." He still felt tense around the strange man, who seemed like something else. Something of the not good variety.

Well it's Milliways, so probably true.

He glanced down at Oscar, but the toddler didn't seem troubled. In fact the little boy waved a little with his free hand.

Huh...?

And Oscar certainly didn't like Viggy, so maybe this guy was ok?

Peter nodded, and jiggled the toddler a little. Kid was getting heavier all the time it seemed. Oscar just continued smiling.

"Oh this one doesn't need sugar. This is all on his own."

He then felt compelled to ask, "You're not human, are you?" It was more of a statement than a question.

Peter's eyes narrowed a little, and nodded, "Yeah, figured as much." He still seemed confused by Oscar's calm reaction.

Then again, his only experience with demons, was with one named Watt, and resulted in his other self's possession. *points to icon*

Peter just said, "Personal radar." He glanced at Oscar, who was smiling happily at Crowley, and waving again.

"Dealt with one before in my work, but you don't seem like a typical one."

Peter nodded, "Probably. You get ghosts on your world?"

Oscar said happily, "Crow!"

Peter glanced down at Oscar, "And obviously Oscar here seems to like you, so not like the ones I've run into."

"Well, it's in my jurisdiction as it were," Peter replied, as he sat down with Oscar comfortably sitting in his lap, and held him securely to keep him from falling. "What is in yours, if you don't mind my asking?"

Peter blinked, "Oh. Uh, well, actually we don't need that much tempting. Pretty good with it on our own." Oscar just watched Peter and Crowley with interest.

"Well," Peter covered Oscar's ears, and softly said, "We definitely good at screwing up at times."

He uncovered the toddler's ears again, "I'm a Ghostbuster. We capture ghosts and sometimes gods or demons for our clients."

Peter nodded, "Yeah, got state-of-the-art equipment for the job, too. Very effective. No job too big, no fee too big."

"Yeah, comes and goes at times. Biggest time is when the Underworld gets restless." Peter said as Oscar rested on his shoulder.

"And by the way, the wanton destruction schtick? Getting old. Same with the 'I want to take over the world' routine. Can't your people think of something more creative?"

"Apple doesn't fall far from the tree either, eh?" Peter added, not knowing how astute he was. He rocked Oscar a bit.
