There are two Jedi in the bar; one dressed in his typical Jedi robes, while the other opted for something more Earth-like - a black tanktop and jeans she picked up while in New Jersey with Sam, to be exact.

Currently, they're sitting at a booth with glasses of Whyren's, playing a few rounds of sabacc to pass the time. There's an amused grin on Jaina's face. Apparently, even with the meld working in his advantage, she can still beat Zekk easily.

Bonzo walks in the door. This time, he has a toy lightsaber attached to a pager clip on his belt. Other than this, he's in shorts and a t-shirt, and he looks rather...relieved. He heads over to Jaina's table and smiles.

"Ho, Jaina. What's up?"

Jaina and Zekk look up from their card game, twin smiles of greeting on their faces. "Hey Bonzo."

"How are you?" Zekk adds in, placing his hand down on to the table.

Bonzo smiles.

"I'm good. School just got out for the summer."

And not a moment too soon...I was going crazy in there...

She nods. "Is that where you just returned from?"

Zekk cocks his head, looking at Bonzo curiously. "What was it like?"

Bonzo nods affirmatively.

"Yeah...just finished up my last few weeks. My parents are letting me attend a local college this fall."

He glances at Zekk and ponders for a second.

"Boring, for the most part. The school I used to attend was a lot more fast-paced."

Just a little, shall we say? To mention nothing of the game of choice there...

She raises an eyebrow. She does remember the discussion with Val, and has been reading Ender's Game of late.

"That's an interesting way to describe it."

There's a tone of dissaproval in her voice.

Bonzo catches the tone.

"Yeah...I'm glad not to be there anymore, but...it's hard to stay busy when your school is making you take classes to fill out credits, not to actually learn things."

Read: Math. Some braniac put him in Algebra because he wasn't listed as having it. A week of that and he was going mad, though he got transferred up a level...several times...over the next month.

"You didn't like Battle School?"

Bonzo looks at Jaina slightly...well, surprised that she'd think otherwise.

"Not after I came here."

Jaina and Zekk nod. "We remember you mentioning..."

"That Milliways had changed you. It has that sort of effect," Zekk adds in.

"On people, doesn't it?" Jaina finishes.

Bonzo does a double-take.

"It...does. Uhm..."

No, he's not becoming Buddhist...he's just a little confused at the tennis match he just saw. 10-love for Jaina?

Jaina eyes him. "Everything alright, Bonzo?"

Bonzo looks between Jaina and Zekk.

"Uh...yeah. Did you two just pick up what the other said mid-sentence?"

"Yeah, we did," Jaina answers, her expression hardening.

"Do you have a problem with that?"

Bonzo looks surprised.

"No...I've just never seen anything quite like that."

One transfer was one thing...but two transfers in two sentences?

"Well now you have."

Bonzo nods and shrugs.

"Now I have...how'd you do that? I mean...picking up sentences from eachother like that?"

"It..." Jaina's about to explain, but she falters. Jag's reaction is still bothering her.

"It's nothing," Zekk tells Bonzo, reaching across the table to take Jaina's hand in his. If he looks defensive right now, the female Jedi is definately the reason why. He clicks softly at her, and she gives him a slight smile.

Bonzo looks between them and decides that the matter is...personal, probably.

"Ok. Back to what we were talking about...Battle School, right?"

Two nods. "Why did your parents let you go to that school?"
