Thea entered from the direction of upstairs. She looked much better today, her cheeks were glowing, her hair was shiny and she was inclined to be nice to everyone, even a certain Frenchman. She stepped up to the bar and after a small hesitation asked for several things, none of which were exactly ordinary. Then she sat down in a booth and laid them out in front of her, scribbling hastily in a notebook.
Why not ask her what one does with an chunk of Celestite, some salt and a bowl of water?
[OOC: Note that I have installed a new icon because I have far too many to keep just one on for long. Feel free to bother, in fact it is positively encouraged.]

"Peter Aurelious, stop!" the Ordinary Princess says. "I'm so very sorry," she adds, addressing the woman at the table.
no subject
"I like animals." She imitated the crow's harsh tones, not sounding human anymore.
no subject
"That's Peter Aurelious," she says finally, and the crow says "Qwa!"
"And the squirrels are Mr. Pemberthy and Simon Perryvall. Simon Perryvall used to be an acorn shell, but he got alchemized. And I'm Amy."

Thea reached out a slender tanned hand.
"Thea Harman. Unity."
It was the age old greeting of the witches. She was a little uncomfortable using it, but this bar was a different sort of place. Not Night world, not human world.

"It's very nice to meet you, Thea Harman Unity."
no subject
She attempted a curtsey herself, got her heel stuck in her jeans, whapped an ankle on the table and almost fell over.
"No, unity is just a greeting, call me Thea."
no subject
She looks again at the things on the table. It doesn't look like Thea is cooking. "What are you making?" she asks, curious.
no subject
She'd rather ignore the fact that Amy saw her almost fall over.

Thea looked hurriedly at her notebook, hoping to look less crazy.

Mr. Pemberthy chatters sympathically, and offers Thea an acorn.
no subject
She smiled at the squirrel and accepted the acorn. Actually, it'd be perfect for in her spell.

Worried about what Blaise could be doing without her to keep an eye on things.
no subject
She's not sure what that would be, honestly, but feels like she should offer.

She sounded harsher than she intended. it's a bit of a shock that Thea can sound harsh.

The she has an idea. "Is there anything I can bring you? I assume you're doing magic, since I can't think of any other way a bowl of water can create a door."
no subject
She frowned slightly, her eyes narrowing.
"What do you know of magic?"
no subject
"Well, my parents have a court magician, of course. And I have a great number of fairy godmothers, all the members of Oberon's Court, actually. It's a very different kind of magic, I think, from the magician's. Magic is what made me ordinary, instead of a proper--well, ordinary."

Thea looked quite confused, but didn't mention the woman's slip-up.
no subject
She would leave it at that, but notices Thea looks a little confused. With a sigh she adds, "But I'm not supposed to be, because I'm a princess."
There, she's said it.
no subject
She looked annoyed. Witches didn't really have royalty in the same sense as other people.
no subject
The Ordinary Princess is a little flushed, and she's not not especially concerned with filling in all the details.
no subject
Thea was huffy. Witches were used to taking care of themselves, the whole husband idea was a bit ridiculous.
