This is not the last open entrance you are looking for. There will be another.
Asmodean is down in the bar reading poetry. Poe, why do you ask?

Angela only knows about firstmommy, Mommy, Daddy and Grandpa. And a lady named Aunt Carol. Oh, and Aunt Chloe. And Daddy's sister...

Trillian talks about weirder things than most.

"...After a certain point, my lady, our family defies classification. In some ways, Lady Angela is my niece."

Trillian smiles again at the little girl.
"If I'm your aunt, then you've got a lot more family than you expect."

Things just get more confusing every day...

She tries not to panic and stands up to look around, feeling her heart rate quicken. Angela's nowhere to be seen.
'Please don't let anything have happened to her'
Angela had wandered off 'Ramon's not here, he's not here...' she searches for her and finally sees her with a familiar man and an unfamiliar woman.
"Angela!" She says relieved.

"Good evening, Lady Kim."

"Did you find her or did she wander over here?" she smiles a little at Angela, not able to be upset that she has a wandering spirit.
no subject
"She wandered over and I entertained her with a story and a song."
A slight pause, and he gestured to Trillian.
"My apologies, Lady Kim, this is my wife, the Lady Trillian Natael."
no subject
"That'd be me. I may also answer to Professor or 'hey you,' but Trillian works."
no subject
"Nice to meet you, Trillian."
no subject
Trillian finds this amusing. Probably so does Asmodean.
"A pleasure."

"The reactions were rather interesting... Though Nita's was far and away the most dramatic, but for good reason."

"Quite good. And I've got - er, a similar situation. My situation's name is Max."

Trillian grins.
"I guess in some way you're related now."
no subject
"...Our family is complicated, but an improvement over my last one."
no subject
And she looks a little confused, "Related?" She glances at Jasin for an explanation.
no subject
"Does Nita not consider you family?"
It is very easy to forget that the bard is carrying all of her memories.

It takes Trillian a minute to grasp the meaning of this.
"Was he seriously wounded?"
Max, I'm gonna kill you.

Just give the person he healed some strange powers.
But Trillian isn't going to make it her job to tell that.
