Sam meanders down the stairs from room seven.
Well, I feel like I’ve had a very long nap. Wonder what I’ve missed.

She sits down at the bar. “Um. Something cold.”
A sorbet appears in front of her.
Sam blinks. Remind me to be more specific next time.

"Seeing how the universe is ending out there? Well...yeah. Kinda hard to beat that."

"I never thought would see anything like this.
I can't even imagine what kind of reactions are going going on out there..."

"...Bad ones, probably." It seemed that way to him, judging by the destruction. "I'm glad the outside is pretty normal."

"The outside?"

He blinks. "You haven't gone outside yet? There's a lake out there. And a talking unicorn, and a talking plane..."

Sam STARES

"A WHAT?!"

"A talking unicorn and a talking plane. The unicorn's Jah-lila, and the plane's Eddie. He's Navy."

"I think I'm going to need to go outside soon."

She glances towards the door.

"Perhaps very soon."

"Eddie's pretty hard to miss-he hasn't been up in the air yet. Just don't talk about taking his CPU out. He's kinda touchy about that." Not that he could blame him.

"Does he talk through artifical intelligance?"

He nods. "He's an AI from 2008. He seems to be as a smart as a human, and he doesn't want to kill people, which is a plus."

"Yes, very good.

I think I'll go meet him now. I'll see you around, okay?"

Sheppard nodded again, pointing to door. "I'll keep an eye out. Eddie should still be by the lake. Big, bronze, likes to play music-you can't miss him."

Sam smiles at him.

"Thanks."

She goes over walks out the door, looking for a big, shiney thing.
