"Hey it works. I seem to recall you doing that every once in a while."

No thanks, And yeah well... maybe he does have an excuse. Petra isn't going to give him any slack.

Bonzo sighs, annoyed.

"Yes, I did. And it didn't exactly work, now, did it?"

There's a pause, while Bonzo ponders the point for a moment.

"Besides...I don't exactly like that."

"Liking something and disliking something are totally beside the point when one is doing something."

Yes, okay, Petra enjoys arguing with Bonzo.

"Why don't you sit down? I've got a feeling our conversation might last a while."

Bonzo nods.

"Sounds good. Lemme get a drink real quick."

He orders a soda of his own from the bar and retrieves it, sitting across the table from Petra.

"Anyhow...what did I achieve with how I ran my army?"

Other than ticking you off, that is...

Petra leans back into ther chair and ticks things off on one hand.

"One- You taught at least 39 soldiers what it ment to be disiplined
Two- You taught me to disobey orders, and look where it got me." She flaces a smile here, meaning that number two was a joke,
"Three- You gave Ender the background he needed to meet me, which opened the door to Dink which lead to him saving humanity. I rather thing that these were good things."

Bonzo smiles at number two, but ponders one and three for a moment.

"Number one, I think you mean 38...after I traded people out and so forth, it was 38 plus you and Ender."

He grins, to show that it's friendly nitpicking.

"Now, as to number three...that's what's called someone manipulating everything."

Petra simply shrugs. "I belive thirty nine is a rather good number, you did have many trade in's and outs. There were probably more then thirty nine at some point. And so what?"

Bonzo grins.

"Alright...39. Anyhow...what about point three?"

Petra repeats herself,

"So what?"

"That means that my command style had nothing to do with it; it was Graff manipulating the situation, not me."

Petra just shrugs it off.

"Ye'll never know now will you?" Petra says casuly. "I almost wish I could take you back to mine timeline."

"Oh? Why?"

"'cuz then you would be able to really tell how things turned out."

"Define 'really' turned out?"

"How things would have turned out if..." She lets the sentance hang instead of ending it bye saying, if you'd died. She's got a feeling that he wouldn't like that.

Bonzo gets the picture, and frowns. It's more of a puzzled frown than a furious one, though.

"I'm wondering how it'll be different given that I'm most certainly not dead yet."

Petra blinks.

"In my reality you are dead bonzo."

Bonzo grumbles at that point.

"I know. I meant that I'm not dead yet in -my- reality."

Petra is rather confused.

"I don't think I understand where ya're coming from."

Eyeroll from Bonzo for just a second, and then a deep breath.

"In my timeline, my reality, I'm most certainly alive. You can come to Madrid and check my pulse. I am well aware of the fact that I'm dead in your timeline...which is why I'm curious as to how the two will come out differently."

"Well... lemme see. We don't have to worry 'bout the buggers any more and from what ya've told me, You do." Petra says evenly.

Bonzo shrugs.

"That's because not as much time has passed in my timeline, for one thing."

He thinks for a second, puzzling the differences out.

"Other than that, the timelines are almost identical."

"Amazing how one little incident will change everything aye?"

Bonzo grins.

"It did make a bit of a difference for me, you know."

Petra smiles back at Bonzo.

"Ah yes it did. Now your timeline simply has a jedi-crazed force addict."
