*Tim is seated at his usual booth, perched on the edge of the chair. His arms are wrapped around a rather thick iron staff with a clawed end. It's new, but already he likes it, despite the weight. It adds just enough mysitcism to the three piece suit, blended nicely. For some reason, his cards are on the table. They just felt like coming out. So, if you want a reading, a flying lesson, or to just talk to Tim, feel free.*

"Roughly this morning, by my count."

The distant past. Perseverance, a journey, a rushed decision, adversity, turmoil, vengeance.

"... Alright. How did you go from a picture of a sometimes less-than-careful gal to that whole explanation?"

*Tim turns over the next card, laying it below the main card.*
The future.
*He pauses, staring. He's used to seeing a valkeryie on this card, but it's changed. No actual face is visible, just the abodomen of a woman. With something bright growing inside. He takes a couple of deep breaths, then speaks calmly.*
The name has changed on this card. In common Tarot, it is called the star. In my deck, it is usually called the Valkeryie. But as you can see, it has renamed itself to be The Child. It speaks of destiny, unexpected events and special gain. Uhm.
*He stares at it again.*

"It'd better be talking about Tonks."
no subject
This is a reading about you.
*And he flips the last card.*
also the future....
*He stares. The female on the card is rather familiar to him. A cute little goth girl who always orders white russians.*
Death. Not actual Death, but Transformation, change, making way for the new.
*He's staring more at the hourglass shes holding towards the viewer. No sand in it, just an empty hourglass.*
Something to do with time?

"... I was going t'help the Doctor with those Cybermen outside, but not any travel..." He's not her Doctor, after all.

So speak the cards. They can be helpful, but mostly directly during or right after the fact.
no subject
"So. Care to explain those last two?"
no subject
I already did.
no subject
"I'm asking the cards." In a 'hey, you're the one who suggested this' sort of tone.

They're inanimate objects sweetie, they can't talk.
no subject
"I think I missed something." She voice is muffled by the wood.
no subject
*He pets her hair.*
They can't actually talk, just display what they see of the future, through thier meanings.
no subject
"They aren't being terribly clear." She grouses. She's none too fond of what the second-to-last card looks to be. As for the last... she can't for the life of her figure out what that's supposed to mean.
no subject
they never really are. Tarot cards are vague by nature. That way, they can pretty much attripute anything to themselves. Mine are actually clearer then normal ones.
no subject
"So." Well, since it's on the table anyway (even in a literal sort of sense)...
"How do you feel about... that?" She waves a hand at the second to last card.
no subject
Positively?
no subject
"Yeah? How?" She waves a hand, trying to somehow put in nebulous hand gestures the words she can't seem to find. "Do you want one now, or, perhaps, in ten years, or... what?"
Would one be safe here?
Would be be good parents?
What will you do when I prove to be as horrid a mum as my own?
She doesn't say those, however.
no subject
*He takes her hands, gripping them warmly and looking her in the eyes.*
I want one whenever we're ready to have one.
no subject
no subject
*Still holding her hands.*
I've seen the love inside of you. I know our children will be something else entirely....
no subject
no subject
*Tim considers this.*
We'll grow. Part of being alive is changing. And... well... er... as many as you like? One, two, none, it doesn't really matter, as long as both of us are happy?
