*Tim is seated at his usual booth, perched on the edge of the chair. His arms are wrapped around a rather thick iron staff with a clawed end. It's new, but already he likes it, despite the weight. It adds just enough mysitcism to the three piece suit, blended nicely. For some reason, his cards are on the table. They just felt like coming out. So, if you want a reading, a flying lesson, or to just talk to Tim, feel free.*

"New toy?" Ace is in a good mood. Sunshine all day will do that.
no subject
New toy. Gimli, son of Gloin made it for me at his forge out back.
no subject
"There's a forge now?" No, the only thing she knows about Middle Earth is that Boromir is from there. It's only the mun that's fangirling.
"I think I met Gimli once. Short bloke, shorter temper, yeah?"
no subject
Hairy little dwarf, looks kind of like a short stocky Jonathon Rhys-Davies?
no subject
"He is a dwarf though. I suppose." He could be normal sized for where he's from, for all she knows.
no subject
*A shake of his head.*
Nevermind.
*Tim starts to pet Magic behind the ears.*
Yup, a dwarf from middle-earth.
no subject
"So what is it?" She asks as she eyes what looks to her to be a large, oddly shaped curtain rod.
Magic accepts petting gleefully, her tail thumping the floor.
no subject
Tis a staff.
no subject
She eyes the curtain rod that evidently has pretensions.
"Thought they were supposed to have a knob on the end?"
She may or may not be serious.
no subject
*He winks at her.*
Besides, once I have power back, the prongs will be easier to fill with energy.

...
It is entirely possible someone gave Ace soda. Bad whoeveryouare. Bad. No cookie for you.
"Playin' solitaire, or are you getting messages of doom?"
no subject
They wanted to air out some, apparently.

Susan's biting her lip, seeming very thoughtful indeed, say true.

And then, someone watching closely might notice a determined sigh, as she uncurls and calls over,
"Long days and pleasant nights."
no subject
*Tim uncurls from his position, carefully leaning his staff against his chair. She looks nervous, so better not to be carrying the huge chunk of metal. Then he strolls towards her, still smiling easily.*
no subject
She straightens up, a little tense, but polite enough.
"Ye're-- ye're sai Tim, Ace's Tim, aren't ye?"
(wizard betrayer traitor)
"The one who-- the one who were on security?"
no subject
I am indeed Aces Tim. And you would be Susan Delgado, yes?
no subject
She's not even certain how to begin this, so she temporizes, at first.
"How-- how do'ee fare, sai?"
no subject
I fare passing well. These past two weeks have shown me a lot.
no subject
"Ye've-- ye've spoken to any number of people, I wot, since-- since ye were released."
And she's said it, acknowledged his imprisonment, and the tension in her rises almost visibly.
no subject
I have talked to many since then. I try to talk to a lot of people, keep in touch if whats going on in the bar.
no subject
Susan looks down at her hot chocolate, and then up again, directly at him.
"Do'ee ken sai Naraht?"
Still nervous, oh aye, but the determination is clear.
no subject
Lt Naraht? Yes, I know him.
