Entrance Post
And so. There's a very well dressed gentleman standing by the door to Milliways - naturally enough, he has a rather surprised expression on his face.
He's not wearing a tuxedo and there are no gorgeous women draping themselves over him. No vodka martini or Walther PPK in his hand either - in fact, he thinks he was about to get fired. So maybe he's a bit relieved to find himself here. He just wishes he knew where 'here' is.
James Bond is in the bar.

James Bond is in the bar.

*She smiles*
I needed a drink when I first got here too.
no subject
'You said that it didn't need a bartender so how does one order a drink?'
no subject
*She smiles*
Yours is free. First drinks are always free. I'll just put mine on my tab.
Want me to order, just so you can see?
no subject
'And then you must tell me where you're from.'
no subject
Bar, This is Mr. Bond. He's new here and setting up a tab.
Can I have a sex appeal and ...for you James?
no subject
no subject
Never hurts. You're quite the charmer, yourself.
*She pauses and the drinks come up*
See, just like that.
no subject
'So where are you from Chris?'
no subject
*She takes a sip of her drink*
Yourself?
no subject
He's a bit taken aback. It hadn't occured to him yet that people might be from different times, even though he had, of course, noticed that the interior design of the bar itself was somewhat more futuristic than he was used to.
'People's times are different then?'
no subject
Easy to boggle your mind.
*She smiles*
I should probably explain the rules to you as well.
No sex in the bar. Upstairs and outside is fine...but here is a no.
No fighting in the bar. We have security. Any threats, physical, or mental action can be reported to them. Don't try and solve things yourself.
No business. You can't sell stuff.
They're pretty easy to remember. I assume you won't have a problem with them.
*She smiles with another sip*
no subject
'They should be no problem at all. I've nothing I want to sell, and I don't generally fight without good reason. And sex is not something to be done with other people around.' He flashes his grey/blue eyes at her with a mischevious grin.
no subject
Of coarse not.
Damn charm. Don't be attracted to James Bond. Don't be attracted to James Bond! Change subject.
So, any more questions? I'm here to help.
no subject
'How does one get a room here? A man needs a bed after all.'
no subject
*She shrugs*

And after a brief pause, a key appears. Engraved with the number 007, naturally. He grins at it, then looks back at Chris. 'So, do you just visit here whenever you feel like it? You have friends here?'
no subject
Well, usually I just get put here by a random door. I haven't been here that long. About a week myself..but I have made a few acquaintances.
no subject
Him, flirt? Never.
'Nice sort of people in here?'
no subject
Surely. You don't plan to stay locked up there all the time though, right? It'd be unfair to the other patrons.
*She can flirt, see*
Most people are nice. Others are dangerous. Some down right scary. Best to watch who you meet.
*She sighs*
I've already messed that up. I've already been threatened with death. That's what a mini-skirt attracts I guess.
*She smiles faintly*
no subject
'Dangerous and scary people. Right. I'll do my best to avoid them. Maybe I will stay in my room after all.' His tone is easy and joking, he's clearly not intimidated.
no subject
Not easily spooked, huh? Me neither. That why I wasn't killed.
*She smirks*
no subject
no subject
I usually don't get so defensive...but he was very rude and I don't take it from anyone.
*She sighs*
He's around here sometimes, but why bother. He doesn't even deserve that.
*She's always been that defensive. Not necessarily a bad thing.*
no subject
'May I have his name? The man sounds like a coward.'
no subject
He is a coward. Lobo...he's a demon, I think. Trust me. He's not even worth a thought.
