She has coffee, but maybe she wants OJ, as well? She gets a glass anyway.

"Get you something to eat?"

"Waffles, please," Faith says, looking up from the catalog with a smile. "Thanks."

"Sure thing."

And in a couple of minutes she has a plate of hot waffles in front of her.

"Movin' home?"

"Nah, into Staff Quarters. I'm with Security," Faith says, shrugging. "Got the place pretty well furnished, but it never hurts to look, y'know?"

"Sure doesn't," Dinah agrees, peering at the catalogue. "That's a nice table, there."

"Yeah. I like the little rack under it."

Faith folds the catalogue and holds out a hand. "I'm Faith, by the way."

"Pleased to meet you, Faith," Dinah says, shaking with a hand warmed by the waffles. "I'm Dinah."

"Pleasure."

Faith takes a bite of the waffles, sighing at the taste.

Mmm, good waffle.

Also gone waffle.

Dinah grins at that.

"Get you some more?"

Faith nods, exuberantly.

"Thanks. I'll burn it off running later."

Slayer metabolism. Gotta love it.

Also gotta love having no metabolism at all. Dinah zips off to the kitchen and returns with a much bigger plate.

"There you go then. Gotta start the day off well."

"Yeah," Faith agrees, launching right in. "Around here, especially...never know what might happen. I could be a flamingo before the day's out."

Dinah laughs at that.

"That happens to you often?"

"To me, never. A Raven, once, but that was a one-off."

Faith shrugs. "Stuff happens around here, though."

"Yeah it does," Dinah agrees. "I'm just happy that I've avoided all of this so far."

"Lucky you," Faith says. "Hope it stays that way."

Dinah grins.

"So do I. Fun as it might be, I'm happy bein' me, thanks."

"The bird thing was cool. Flying, lots of fun. Barrel rolls, y'know?"

"Sure it was," Dinah agrees. "Not knocking it, but I'm happy with my wheels."

Dinah smiles sweetly and lifts up a foot to show the roller skate like wheels on the base.

"Wheels."

"...cool," Faith says, and pours more syrup.

"I think so," Dinah agrees.

"So what did you do before joining Security here, Faith?"

"In my world? I hunt and kill demons. Don't get paid for it, but I do it."

"Well, that's very noble of you," she replies. "Brave, too."
