It's late, but Behrooz is sitting alone outside, looking out at the dark lake. He knows this probably isn't a good idea, but he didn't feel like staying inside tonight.

He'd been reading some sheet music the Bar had given him earlier, but now it's on the ground, held down by a small rock.

Feel free to bother.

"He can change his appearance," Behrooz says. "It's... hard to know if he's here."

Well, that certainly complicates matters.

House wonders if Behrooz will ever get a break, because it seems like bad luck follows the poor kid like a shadow.

He also wonders, if someone who may be a threat to him could be hanging around undetectable, why is Behrooz outside by hmself? Not that he'd be any better off inside, but there are generally more people around.

"Is there anything ic an do?"

Because he's smart like that? Not to mention extremely talented at making enemies.

"I don't think so," he says quietly.

"But you know, if there's anytihng, anything at all...You can ask me."

Triumph rolled over in her sleep and sighed.

Behrooz looks up and doesn't look away for a moment.

"Yeah," he murmurs. "I know."

[OOC: I've got to get to bed very soon...]

"You want to come inside? I should probably get Triumph upstairs before Allison freaks out thinking I've fallen or something."

Behrooz nods slightly and quietly says, "Ok." He pauses before standing, waiting for House.

He takes a minute, aligning his body to cooperate, butgets to his feet with little more than a grunt. The puppy snorts in sleep, and wiggles into wakefulness when he picks her up, this time without dropping the cane, though it takes another minute or so to coordinate himself to hold the dog and walk with the cane.

[OOC: I'm good with a ftb, since it's already been slowtimed once. Hopefully they can talk again before you leave, Hosue will miss Roo until you get back online!]
