"Oh, I just stayed up too late," Lilly says casually.

"It happens, you ken? It's one of the many reasons I am so grateful for coffee."

She's done that herself, more than once--especially here-- and Susan nods.

"I kennit, Lilly."

A careful look. "But all's well-- ye weren't awake troubled, were thee?"

It says a lot about Susan's own late nights, some of them, that she'd think ot ask it, mayhap.

Lilly looks down at her coffee cup. She doesn't want to lie to Susan, but there are things she doesn't want to bring up to someone who just lost her first love again, nearly lost her fiance, and is trying to get past that to have a happy wedding.

"Not really. I'm just kinda... thinking of Neptune too much, I guess."

It's the truth, just not all of it.

Mayhap strangely, her first thought is not of Mejis.

Susan shakes her head as if to clear it, then nods.

Lilly looks up, smiling as she squeezes Susan's hand.

"It'll pass, though. Nothing to worry about. Now, what I have to wear at your wedding? That's something that needs some serious discussion."
