(no subject)

He's finally convinced Shannon to let him out.

Well, actually, she's fallen asleep and he needs to get out before he goes crazy, so he comes downstairs in a pair of khaki shorts and a white t-shirt.

He's still a bit sore, but he hopes the burger and coke he orders and takes to the booth with him will help with that.

Charlie looks at him a moment, then starts snickering. "Wedding clothes. Life of excitement. Good lord. Did you like that? I mean--wedding cltohes."

He laughs. "No, it wasn't. It was mainly paperwork and delegating jobs. Nothing exciting."

"Yeah, exactly. After the band I had a day as a salesman. Normal life didn't take. You'd be surprised how little does."

He stands from the booth and says, "Thank you for sharing. See you around, yeah?" He heads upstairs.
