As has been reported elsewhere, Melkor is in the bar, having enjoyed a series of more Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters than most sentient beings can comfortably comprehend.
The Vala, however, is unfazed. To him, they simply taste... rather fruity.
Better than the scumble he tried yesterday, at least.

His mind, however, reels from another thought. This is another Dark Lord, like himself, and has a kinship with Gorlim. Could he be a threat? He could be a powerful ally, should it be otherwise.

Better bring Melkor gently towarads the knowledge that there are many worlds, and only one in which he was, or would have been, powerful. Such dark deities did not like to hear the news that they were but one among very, very many, and their world was in fact inonsequential to most, and their power very relative when faced with Milliways security.
But then, Kal Torak, who had lost his self-control on being told that, had been insane. Melkor, on the other hand, appears sane, even good-humoured, if snarky and with some sort of dark, hidden purpose up his sleeve.
Exactly like Asar-Suti himself had been when he came here.

"I think I shall find this library most interesting," he says after a moments thought. "Perhaps you could direct me to it?"

Many worlds. Infinite possibilities. It would be entertaining, Asar-Suti thought, to see Melkor find out about them all.

"I thank you, Asar-Suti. I will go there soon. I see that you are overburdened. Please do not let me keep you from your tasks. I wish you good day."

"I'll be seeing you around," he says, and wanders off with his books.
