A wizard is never late. Nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to.

Which is why the front door opens at this precise moment, letting in Gandalf the Grey.

He goes to the bar and has a seat, and begins to fill his pipe.

"I've only been here a short time. About two weeks perhaps." Giles replied. "It is a strange, and sometimes chaotic place."

Giles nodded, "That and more. There are beings here, some very powerful. Some are benevolent, like Raven. And then there are ones like Morgoth." The tone seemed casual, but his eyes flickered toward the wizard briefly.

Giles nodded, "Yes, he and his brother, Namo. They are both here. Namo is trying to keep him in check, and he has agreed to keep the rules."

He added, "But I know from experience, it is not difficult to one with enough skill to bend or even break the rules with none the wiser."

Giles nodded, "Indeed, I've been trained in it, and it is part of my business to keep aware of any potential dangers on the horizon."

Giles then got up, "I still have much work to do, but it's been a honor meeting you and talking with you, Master Gandalf. Perhaps we'll run into each other again sometime?"
