"The lack of embarrassment?"

Raven sounds incredulous.

Well, the fact that that stuff doesn't effect you like it does others here.

Raven shrugs.

"Not particularly, I do not think. It makes some things easier."

Most things, if you get right down to it.

Easier.

Probably a bit less fun, though.

Raven laughs.

"It depends, perhaps, on what you are willing to consider fun."

There are lots of things I'm willing to consider fun.

Raven grins.

"And that, perhaps, is where we differ. It is well enough, in truth."

*And very quickly, Adam is back to himself.*

You've never wanted to do anything like fall in love?

"Not particularly, I do not think."

His voice is casual.

Why not?

"To want a thing is to be capable of it, to one degree or another, perhaps."

Perhaps.

*Adam frowns, though.*

It's a strange thing.

"It is, for some. Not so much for me, I do not think."

You don't find love a strange thing?

Raven looks at him.

"Not particularly. I like people very well, after all."

It means almost the same thing, that.

*Almost. Only not really at all.*

Not really.

Raven shrugs.

"I am what I have made me, so."

But if you made you that way, you can change you.

"I could, perhaps. That is also a question of choice."

It is. But how can you really choose if you don't know what it is you're choosing between?

Raven just looks at him.

"Who is to say I do not?"

*He tilts his head*

Well, have you? Fallen in love, that is.

Raven blinks.

"After a fashion, perhaps."

Really.
