Sirius grins. "Yeah. Oh -- you never met me, did you? Just the kiddie-me."
He examines his nearly-translucent fingernails. "I'm dead. And not actually here. I mean, you can be dead and be here -- I was that, too -- but now I'm not. I'm....dead to Milliways."
"Oh -- you never met me, did you? Just kiddie-me. You'll meet him again. Have fun. Buy him a beer."
Sirius examines his nearly-translucent nails. "I'm dead, you see. And not in Milliways. It's possible to be dead in Milliways -- and even still have a good time. Like Las Vegas, so I hear. But I'm dead to Milliways, too."
"Well, I don't remember being peed on, but it's not out of the question. All that absinthe, you know."
He thinks about it.
"I'm a ghost, and when I was a kid I was pretty stupid. So, probably I'd buy me a beer and then thank me, and then I'd think, what a swell and handsome bloke he was."

He pauses.
"Except for tonight, obviously."

He slouches a little more.

Met kiddie-
OH. YOU. Dog liked you. I think.
Or did he pee on you?
Eh, he might've liked you, anyway. He pees on Crowley, and he likes him well enough.
A beer. I can do that.
But so what happens if you both end up here at the same time?

*He laughs, though, and winks.*

Sirius stretches and stands, setting his empty glass down.
"I should go -- if I wait for the cock-crow, it'll be harder to get back."
He puts out his hand. "Nice to meet you again."

Nice to meet you.

Except for a moment of laughter, floating in the air.
