Snow! GIP!
. . .Dude, it's summer back in Nita's world. Snow is a good thing.
Nita's outside, idly making snowballs andstockpiling them up. Though she's got a good coat and mittens, she's hatless.
Approaching carries the risk of a snowball fight. You've been warned.

a witch who can throw a snowball with deadly acuracy, should it come down to it. So Miss Calahan... are you willing to take up the challenge of a flying opponent?no subject
She's quite impressed. Wizards don't, as a rule, use brooms in her world.

Angelina doesn't pay any attention to the girl watching her - she would normally but today Angie's too busy concentrating on her flying skills, in preperation for a trip to downtown LA, to notice her.
no subject
So she winds up and tries to get within a few feet of the broom's tail.
. . .Yeah, not happening.
no subject
But the flying snowball is enough to cath her attention- Angie spent 6 years dodging bludgers, so she's learnt to notice things flying at her.
She swerves to a halt in mid-air, turning to look at Nita. She quirks a smile, placing one hand on her hip.
"You need to aim higher than that and a bit to the left. The winds pushing it of course slightly."

It's red.
Bright red.
So she quite stands out, against the snow.
no subject
Paf!
The snowball was neither packed nor thrown hard enough to hurt. But that white powder all over the red cloak is rather a fetching color combination, don't you think?
Nita looks completely innocent. Except for the part where there's a pile of snowballs next to her.

Amy gives a somewhat startled cry. No one has ever thrown a snowball at her before.
She looks down at her cloak, which actually is rather fetching covered in snow, and then begins to laugh, head thrown back, greatly and genuinely amused.
She waves cheerfully at the other girl. She's laughing too hard to say hello -- or anything else.
no subject
Nita waves back, grinning, and readies another snowball. Because in her experience, getting hit with a snowball generally leads to retaliation.
no subject
And while she may never have been a snowball fight in her life, it's hardly difficult to figure out.
So Amy rather Gracefully scoops up some snow and throws it. She's got very good aim, for a beginner.
"Hello," she calls, not wanting to get too close. "I'm Amy."

She bends over to scoop up more snow, compromising her balance slightly.

He's looking vaguely sullen about it.
no subject
Paf!
It's hard to be sullen when a powdery snowball has just exploded over your shoulders, right?
Wonder where it came from. Surely not the girl with the pile of snowballs next to her looking innocent.

. . .That is, Nita hides the next snowball behind her back. Convincing, yes?
She gives him a friendly smile and a wave.

He waves back, suspiciously, and starts to scrape together a snowball of his own.

But.
One thing Tony doesn't miss?
Getting hit by snowballs.
Which is why he steers away from the clear and obvious snowball war that's about to erupt between Jack and Nita.
If you need him? He'll be keeping a wide berth between himself and the pair.

And Nita is hatless, too! Ingress is cruel.
Nita eyes the giggling girl and grabs for a snowball of her own, grinning.

She's not really dressed quite warmly enough. The solution to that is clearly physical exertion for warmth, right?
She hasn't thought to join in quite yet, though. She's watching Ingress, and smiling a little.
