. . .Dude, it's summer back in Nita's world. Snow is a good thing.

Nita's outside, idly making snowballs and stockpiling them up. Though she's got a good coat and mittens, she's hatless.

Approaching carries the risk of a snowball fight. You've been warned.

"Not as often as when I was little, unfortunately."

She holds out a bemittened hand. "Nita Callahan, Hempstead, New York, the US, Earth, 2005. I'm a wizard."

Amy shakes Nita's hand with her own gloved hand. "Just Amy, Phantasmorania which is not too far from France in the Europes in which it exists, twenty-fifth year of the reign of King Hulderbrand. I'm not a wizard. I do know a magician, though."

"Most people aren't," Nita replies with a smile. "Wizards, I mean. Nice to meet you."

[kitchen_maid]

"No, I don't suppose they are. At least, they're certainly not in my world."

Amy's smile is bright.

"And yes, it's lovely to meet you, too. But I rather think my fingers have frozen out here. I don't suppose you'd like to go inside for tea or hot chocolate or something?"

"Hot chocolate sounds like an excellent idea, actually."

[kitchen_maid]

Amy nods. "Perfect."

And, leaving the snow battlefield behind them, the two girls go back into the bar, settle by the fireplace with hot chocolate and cookies, and laugh and talk over any number of things.
