Behrooz is at the piano, idly playing through scales.
He looks somewhat tired, but more unfocused, thinking about something else. The dream he'd had the previous night plays in the back of his mind, and after a moment, he stops playing scales and starts the notes he can remember dimly from the background.
It's rather unsettling, but he doesn't show this.

He notes the goodness not because of the skill of the scale playing, but because Behrooz doesn't really seem to be paying attention to what he's doing and yet he hasn't missed a note.

"Someone taught me... a few months ago in here, and then I left, so... I guess it's been over a year for me now."

Not that either of them needs lessons in the first two, and I'm quite sure Logan oughtn't be learning the third.

Um. Nothing being said about knives. Right.

Best that way, no doubt.

Always a good thing.
"Though I guess I'll have midterms soon..."
It's kind of nice when that's the only upcoming event that comes to mind.

And rarely bothers taking them, if it comes to that.

At this point, though, he eyes the bar a little suspiciously.

Magical bars are more fun than parents. Yep.

He strokes the bar fondly, though, to show he's not serious.

Well. 19-year-old Behrooz, anyway.
"Hey, you're back."

"Yeah... I couldn't come back for a while," he says carefully, trying to guess if Lee had met the younger version. "But I've been able to go in and out for over a week now, I think."

Slowly, "I... guess not."
Pause. "I don't really remember it, so..."
Though, given what others had said, it didn't sound like he'd repeated any of the malicious things about Americans he'd heard from his parents at that age. Which was... nice to know.
