Dinah is behind the bar again, with amsile as dazzling white as the ice cold milk she's decanted into brekafast jugs, the breakfast specials once again with a holiday theme:

Breakfast Specials
Cranberry Pumpkin Waffles
Eggnog Muffins
Half a grapefruit.

"What'll you have?"

He rises shaking his head, and his hand dips into a pouch at his waist. He sets several coins down on the bar, which vanish. Then he holds one out to her. It is, in fact, solid gold. Small, but gold.

"My thanks, for good service and good coversation."

"Oh honey, you don't hafta," she insists, waving it away. "It's what I'm built for, after all."

He places the coin on the Bar, and nodding to her, he takes his leave.

Dinah sighs, hands folded on her hips, and stares at the coin until it disappears.

One of these days she's going to have to do something about all that credit on her tab.
