Amanda is inthe bar. Actually she is sitting at a booth with a stack of books on dream interpretation. Armed with a notepad, pen, and coffee. She is also trying to keep her eye out for a fast moving member of security and had she not been so preoccupied with the research on dreams she just might have thought to write Barry a note.
Come bother at will. She could probably use the distraction. She has been obsessing over this for the last three days.

as the mun knows right nowdefy words."He's going to need friends. But I think he has a good one in you, and that puts my mind at ease a bit."

hugs munShe tries very hard. But she knows that there is something more going on. Something that he doesn't want to tell her and that has her very worried. More worried then she is willing to show."Thank you." she is still too upset with Barry about Abs to return the compliment but she does opt for not bringning that up. Instead she moves onto the topic that she had in mind, "Barry, have there been any new developments in the Ghosts case?"

"I know of a few people getting notes or roses, including Sara. But I hadn't heard anything about dreams.
"Do you know something I don't?"

She is also beginning to suspect Erik but without more information she isn't going to put that out there just yet. He has been the subject of such bigotry in the past she doesn't want to be responsible for setting that on him again.

"I should see if I can find Eska Smith and learn if there is any sort of dream-magic on the Disc, or if someone like Salzella could use it." If Barry is talking like Amanda knows who Salzella is, that's becasue he sometimes forgets who knows what. The case is a bit complex sometimes.

"Salzella is the primary Opera Ghost. He kidnapped Andrew Wells last summer, and didn't bother to hide his face during that ordeal.
"He's from the city of Ankh-Morpork, on a world called the Disc. He used to work at that city's opera house, and pulled the same stunt there, from what I've been told. I met him once. Seemed quite the sophisticate, in fact.
"I'm sure there is another person assuming the role, so to speak, but Salzella is the one wh know, and the one whose behavior was more dangerous."

"That's good. She is the only member of security that Paige has met."

"You know, back in the day I would have found you a business card and told you to have her call me. Sometimes, I miss things like that."

"I don't doubt that you would have tried that, yes. I would have as well. But one of the things that has changed is that I rarely try that anymore. Not when I might fare better with help." Smilng, Barry gets up. There is strength in numbers, after all.
"I think I will be heading along, if there's nothing else on your mind. Have a good one."

She smiles, "Have a good day."

Guess who's looking over her shoulder.

She clears off a space for her friend to join her. "Yep thats what the titles say."

Relaxing a bit, "How are you doing?"

"Morning Amanda!" she grins

"Good Morning, Paige." she clears off some room for Paige to join her. "Please have a seat and you can tell me all about what has you so excited. Or let me guess it has something to do with your plans tonight." Amanda is beaming. Paiges good mood seems to be contagious.

She sips her coffee and looks over at the books, "they're not because of me are they?" she asks looking a little happy that she had previously

Scanning the books, "As a matter of fact no. But now that I think about it. Alot of people I know have been having strange dreams. All very different but still I didn't really realize it." she falls into thought for a few moments, "No this is actually about a strange dream I had the other night."
no subject
"Wanna tell me about it?" she asks picking up her coffee
no subject
"Sure." she decribes the dream (http://www.livejournal.com/users/amanda_darieux/9267.html) in perfect detail. She has hardly been able to think about anything else since.
