Amanda is inthe bar. Actually she is sitting at a booth with a stack of books on dream interpretation. Armed with a notepad, pen, and coffee. She is also trying to keep her eye out for a fast moving member of security and had she not been so preoccupied with the research on dreams she just might have thought to write Barry a note.

Come bother at will. She could probably use the distraction. She has been obsessing over this for the last three days.

"Hmmm. It wouldn't be out of the question, given that there were some supernatural elements at work the first time. He certainly seemed to know more than he could about some of his, er, stalkees.

"I should see if I can find Eska Smith and learn if there is any sort of dream-magic on the Disc, or if someone like Salzella could use it." If Barry is talking like Amanda knows who Salzella is, that's becasue he sometimes forgets who knows what. The case is a bit complex sometimes.

She nods as he speaks, "Who is Salzella?" because she wants to know. This is something that could be affecting her friend and she doesn't want to be taken out of the loop whether or not he considers her a civilian.

He pauses and grins a little sheepishly. "Oops. I sometimes foreget who knows what and who doesn't.

"Salzella is the primary Opera Ghost. He kidnapped Andrew Wells last summer, and didn't bother to hide his face during that ordeal.

"He's from the city of Ankh-Morpork, on a world called the Disc. He used to work at that city's opera house, and pulled the same stunt there, from what I've been told. I met him once. Seemed quite the sophisticate, in fact.

"I'm sure there is another person assuming the role, so to speak, but Salzella is the one wh know, and the one whose behavior was more dangerous."

"Thats right you had mentioned that." she goes deep in thought, processing the information, "I will keep my eyes and ears peeled. Please let me know if you find anything out." she is clearly worried about her friend.

"You might want to have your friend talk to me, or Faith, and file an official report. There might also be things that she mentions in the retelling that she forget till now." Barry wants to do at least some of this by the book, though if he is going to have Amanda help - which seems wise - the book is already being ignored in terms of keeping non-staff out of the case.

Yes well without the non-staff he might not have heard about it, "Well Paige saud she was going to talk to Mel." Because believe it or not Amanda had actually instructed her to speak with Security already.

"Excellent. Mel was quite involved with the case in its first go-round." And, if he recalls correctly, was quite angered by one of the Ghosts. He's glad she'll be back on the case.

Well that all depends on whether or not Paige actually goes to Mel.

"That's good. She is the only member of security that Paige has met."

"Well, like I said, she's welcome to introduce herself to me as well." A thought occurs to Barry.

"You know, back in the day I would have found you a business card and told you to have her call me. Sometimes, I miss things like that."

"Yes well back inthe day I probably would have bipsed going to you and dealt with it myself. But things change, they always change. For better or worse." No she doesn't think that Barry will like hearing such a thing but it's the truth and it's who she is. If they were outside of Milliways she wouldn't go to the cops.

Barry considers this. He appreciates that no matter what, she remains honest.

"I don't doubt that you would have tried that, yes. I would have as well. But one of the things that has changed is that I rarely try that anymore. Not when I might fare better with help." Smilng, Barry gets up. There is strength in numbers, after all.

"I think I will be heading along, if there's nothing else on your mind. Have a good one."

"Nothing having to do with the stalker." she points to the books, "Just my own obsession."

She smiles, "Have a good day."
