And heading downstairs from the direction of the sims is a Peacekeeper. She's been practising. So she takes a seat at a booth, orders some Ori-ohs (read as Oreos ^_^) and takes out her knitting from a large black bag. It looks like a sweater...sort of.

"I've noticed." Aeryn says, ignoring the blatant sarcasm.

"You can insult me today if you like. My pulse pistol is empty." Look, she can do snark too!

"Well, it wasn't my intention but if you insist..."

"I'm sure there's plenty you missed last time." Aeryn prompted.

"The resemblance of my mother to some common labouring animal or perhaps you could call me a tralk this time."

"You know I was actually trying to be civil to you. Why do you have to try and make me argue with you?"

"I don't know how else to act." Aeryn finally admitted after several microts contemplation of this.

She was tired of everyone telling her that she was wrong, too violent, too different.

"Well then you need to learn another way. I know we haven't seen eye to eye on some things, but I've apologised for that. The least you can do is acknowledge that and try and be polite back."

"Being polite won't get us anywhere." Aeryn pointed out.

"And I did acknowledge it." Even realised you were right about some things.

"What would happen if John Crichton walked back into this Bar, a cycle from now or less? What would happen then?"

"What do you mean by that?" she frowns.

"What would become of our forced politeness?"

She sighs.

"I don't know, I'm not a Seer. But if you're worried that I'm going to try and get back with John then you don't need to. I'm over him Aeryn. I have been for a long time. For crying out loud, I'm seeing someone else."

"And so am I. So Neither of us will have any reason to fight anymore."

"So then why do we?"

"We just don't mash." And by that she means mesh. Please correct her, the mun begs.

"Mash? I think you mean mesh.

And you know, I don't think thats true at all."

"I said mesh." She does denial exceedingly well. Aeryn blinked, taking in Angie's words.

"You threw a projectile weapon at my head."

"Oh come on, that wasn't what started this and you know it. We were arguing even before I did that.

The first time we met we got on fine. I think if it hadn't been for John and Andrei we could have been friends."

"And what would we do together? Target practise?" Aeryn resisted every step of the way. She tended to push people out. Actions, not words, spoke to her.

She shrugs.

"Wouldn't have been the worst suggestion I've ever heard."

"I'm not like you. I don't go shopping and laugh with the girls."

Aeryn frowned, paying particular attention to her needles.

"The last catalogue I looked through was for body armor."

"So? The last one I looked through was was for brooms and Quidditch equipment. I'm not exactly a very girly girl myself."

"I don't know what kid itch is." Aeryn sighed.

"Quidditch," she corrects automatically. "It's a game played on brooms. It can be quite violent and dangerous."

"Are weapons allowed?" She's got Aeryn's attention now.

"No, but there are two heavy balls that fly around of thier own accord and try and knock you off."

[ooc: and I must depart for bed. I need to be up for work in less than 6 hours *meep*]

"Sounds charming."
