Through the gate, he said. Elizabteh was through the gate. Or maybe those weren't his exact words. Close enough.
So Will went through the gate, hand resting on his sword hilt, head held high, alert and ready for anything that might meet him on the other side.
Except, perhaps, a tavern. Especially a strange tavern such as this.
Just inside the door he hesitates, head high and proud, eyes ready and alert, a sense of heroism and good looks that shine through his dirty, battered appearance. And slso through the utter confusion at what he sees.

[ Endless Realms: The New Realm, Answering a Call ]
Desire stayed the night in the bar again, leaving off the alterations in the half-finished realm in favor of comforting Regulus.
For the first time, the Endless honestly looks tired when entering the bar room, blinking blearily on the way to the semi-usual table. A flicker of gold, and the heart-lighter is in hand: Desire does not put it away once the cigarette is lit, watching the flame dance with a blank form of fascination.
