Dinner's long since been over for the couple, but Jaina and Jagged Fel are still downstairs in the bar, sitting next to each other at a booth. Jaina's crutches lean against the table, her legs spread across Jag's lap as opposed to the seat across from her. It's rather comfortable. Well, for her, anyway.

Currently, they're enjoying the last of the strawberry ice cream Jaina had ordered alongside a proper meal - nerf steak, topatoes, and charbote - and talking quietly.

A nod. "Yep. Which means neither of us will be able to get back to our credit accounts any time soon."

Or to where there's bacta to help aid with the healing. Force dammit.

"You and Zekk aren't, though."

Assuming nothing's changed in the last few weeks.

"Right. I was going to offer to go home and take care of all that for you."

Such a thoughtful and kind friend Tahiri is!

... okay, actually she just didn't want to have to bounce them out of the place. Even though she doesn't know if Security would have to do that, it's better not to take any chances.

Zekk rolls his eyes and pokes at Tahiri's arm. "What's the catch?"

Even if that offer didn't exactly include him.

"Really?" Ignoring Zekk, Jaina grins at Tahiri's offer. "Think you'd be willing to pick up some bacta patches, too?"

"Sure thing," she replies. "Make up a list and I'll do my best to get it all."

She's got to grab Master Windu's lightsaber parts, after all. Since someone never went back to run that errand for her.

Jag looks slightly uncomfortable with this. "You mean we'll just give you our credit account information?"

"Think you'd be willing to pick up money for us, too?"

Zekk? Lazy? Say it ain't so.

"You're a big boy," she tells Zekk. "And not Bound like those two. You need a job anyway-- why not go pick up your own?"

"You got the only good job you can get around here," he complains. "Anyway, we have a job."

It's just not here.

Sure you don't want to be a Delicate Flower? she smirks at him. So pretty.

"Fine, I'll get yours too-- but you'll owe me. Big."

He doesn't have to be a mind reader to know where Tahiri's thoughts are going. No stanging way, sandflea.

Zekk frowns, crossing his arms over his chest. "How big is big?"

"Big. Huge. Epic, even."

Probably something involving a homecooked meal and an apron. Decent food this time, and no cheating.

As Zekk scowls at the blonde Jedi again, Jaina just shakes her head.

To Tahiri, "So it wouldn't be a problem to get the money for me and Jag?"

"And I'm supposed to trust you with account numbers?"

He's still kinda miffed Tahiri didn't answer his question earlier.

"Not a problem at all," she replies. "And yes, Jag, you're going to have to trust me with account numbers unless you'd like to get kicked out here for not paying your bill."

Jaina eyes her husband, kicking gently at his leg again. "If you don't want to trust Tahiri, I'll give her my account number and we'll cover this round for the both of us."

"No no," he says quickly. "I just want to be sure-- you will be careful, right?"

After all, she's wearing the Vong outfit again. That's not really condusive to trust.

"Yes, I will be careful."

There is eyerolling. Lots of eyerolling. "I'm not going tonight though-- I figure I'll head out after the Security meeting tomorrow. Or maybe the day after, but definately sometime this week. I'll find everyone before I leave though, okay?"

"Works for us," she replies, now eying the eyerolling a bit. Jag's just being careful, after all. "I'll make sure you have to have everything ready before you go."

Zekk shakes his head, poking at Tahiri again. "No staying gone too long, though."

"Says the guy who suggested I sign up to be a whore."

Tahiri's not terribly mad though-- the pretty eyes thing was worth it.

"Okay then. Start making your lists and everything tonight, and I'll be around to pick them up tomorrow."

"You'd make a good one," Zekk chimes in, grinning at her. "A really good one, we bet. Cause you're good at the whole--"

"Zekk! We're not discussing this."

"I'll see if they're looking for temporary help then."

Woman with two jobs while the man does nothing. How fair is that? Crazy Zekk.
