Draco was dressed not in his robes. The balm he created with his cauldron and supplies took care of the remaining burns nicely, with little scarring, if any.
He was dressed in dark green tunic, and trousers. Sleek, ideal for swift movement. He was outside, practicing moves with his dagger again. He was becoming increasingly efficient, and deadly in the grace he employed as he turned, and spun. His slight form being an advantage in this case.

He then added with a touch of sheepiness, "Errr...yes."

"More like I was told was a fact..." he added to himself.

He thought back to things he'd been told.
("What are you... ? A ghost trying to fit in with humans, or some creepy little boy with creepy little powers?"
"Both... neither... I DON'T KNOW!")
...Things he'd often tried very hard not to think about himself.
"And from the sound of things, I guess you've started to figure out it doesn't make you anything special, either."
He sat up and faced him, still floating in the air, chin held in his hands as he looked at Draco, as if he were thinking.
"...Who's threatening you and your family, by the way?"
He was trying very very hard to forgive him.
Maybe.

In a louder voice, the sneer returned, "Bloody Muggles who hate us. Some bitch attacked my mum, and sent them both to jail. Then, another Muggle got into an argument with her, and even tried to threaten her using me as a target, the bastard. Spoke to someone else who claims his threats were mostly talk. Still don't trust him."
"...And that's only here..." Draco added, sounding more mournful.

"You know, those muggles might not be as nasty if your mom wasn't first--and just a guess here, but your mom totally has to be nasty if your parents are who you learned all that muggle-hating stuff from."

He added, "She's just opinionated. My parents believe strongly in their views."

He loftily added, "It's actually a common viewpoint in our circles. There's many who feel the same way. Some aren't as vocal as others, but it's understood."

"Six billion muggles on the planet. Are you telling me there's a little under six billion wizards?"
no subject
"...Errr, not that many. Did you say 6 BILLION??" Obviously it's easier to leave that part out when there's talk of overcoming the muggle menace. Even with magic, it makes things much harder to change the odds.

Yep, they certainly did. Draco was like some kid who'd been home schooled on a white supremacist sect base, and then ends up going to a highly diverse university in a city. Cue the culture shock.
