Draco was dressed not in his robes. The balm he created with his cauldron and supplies took care of the remaining burns nicely, with little scarring, if any.

He was dressed in dark green tunic, and trousers. Sleek, ideal for swift movement. He was outside, practicing moves with his dagger again. He was becoming increasingly efficient, and deadly in the grace he employed as he turned, and spun. His slight form being an advantage in this case.

"Well, how'd you reach out for it? 'Hi, I'm Draco, want to give up your soul for power? I know this blonde lady...'" Danny said with extreme sarcasm.

"Is this that Harry guy you're obsessed with?" Danny asked flatly.

[identity profile] goinghost.livejournal.com 2006-05-02 03:34 am (UTC)(link)
"Did you really try to smarm it up and talk nasty about meeting 'the right people' and all that garbage?" Danny asked.

[identity profile] goinghost.livejournal.com 2006-05-02 03:43 am (UTC)(link)
"More like hateful," Danny replied idly. "For instance, I bet I'd have been one of the people you'd have told him to stay away from. Us moogles, or whatever."

"I'm a superhero, though. That's just a muggle with powers, not a wizard. It doesn't make me anything special."

He thought back to things he'd been told.

("What are you... ? A ghost trying to fit in with humans, or some creepy little boy with creepy little powers?"

"Both... neither... I DON'T KNOW!")

...Things he'd often tried very hard not to think about himself.

"And from the sound of things, I guess you've started to figure out it doesn't make you anything special, either."

He sat up and faced him, still floating in the air, chin held in his hands as he looked at Draco, as if he were thinking.

"...Who's threatening you and your family, by the way?"

He was trying very very hard to forgive him.

Maybe.

"Well, if your parents have the same awesome friend-making abilities as you, I'm totally not surprised," Danny said.

"You know, those muggles might not be as nasty if your mom wasn't first--and just a guess here, but your mom totally has to be nasty if your parents are who you learned all that muggle-hating stuff from."

"So it's okay because a lot of people thinks it's okay. Huh. Wow, next time we go over the Holocaust in Mr. Lancer's class, I'll have to raise my hand and tell him it was perfectly fine."

"Even though your world, is what, in Britain? Scattered in a few other places in the world?" Danny asked. "How many millions of muggles are there to every one wizard?"

[identity profile] goinghost.livejournal.com 2006-05-11 02:26 am (UTC)(link)
"You do realize that your world probably has the same amount of people as my world, right? Which means there's got to be around..." What was that number. Geography was one of the only classes he'd ever done well in...

"Six billion muggles on the planet. Are you telling me there's a little under six billion wizards?"

[identity profile] goinghost.livejournal.com 2006-05-11 02:51 am (UTC)(link)
"Yeah. Six billion. I'm guessing they left that part out, huh. That the muggle menace was six billion strong." He floated around in a circle on his back again, lazily.

"I'm guessing you guys are a little sheltered, dude..." Danny said, raising his thick, white eyebrows.
