Toga Party
Atop a long table in one corner of the bar sits a row of punch bowls containing ladles and various cocktails: from margarita to plain screwdriver. These are accompanied by several bowls of ice, some containing various bottles of beer. There are stacks of plastic glasses, paper plates, napkins, and a large pile of ivy wreaths at one end. The drinks are buffet-style at this party, so help yourself.
There are plates scattered over the residual tables in the area, some overflowing with huge bunches of grapes, others containing savory fare such as chicken legs, hunks of bread, olives, cheese or humus dips.
To try and give an impromptu impression of a Roman/Greco theme, the tables have been topped with white tablecloths and chairs and surfaces strewn with ivy. If there had been a way to fashion columns or import colonnades in twenty four hours, Indy would have tried it. But ivy will have to do on short notice. At least its not poisonous.

Hi Mike, how are you?
no subject
He hasn't moved from Tim's lap yet.
They're not very thick boxers.

I understand. I thank you for your worry. But don't worry, I'm not dead yet.

Without moving his left leg too much, Mike swings over to an empty spot on the couch. The leg? It's very very badly bruised from the knee up. Broken, one might say. Freshly cut from a cast, one might also say.
no subject
Ya still could, the body is still down there.

Right.

DCU man. We never stay dead.

...
"You know, I almost threw down the copy of your first book with you, but decided it'd be cruelty to comics to bury one. Now I'm kind of glad I didn't. Then I'd be out two copies of that blasted graphic novel."

Two?

Yeh, that must be it.

"Are you okay?"

*Tim points.*
Hey, look, Ace ina miniskirt.
no subject
"I know, she's pretty hot, isn't she?"
He folds his arms across his chest.
no subject
Yeh, my bad, sorry.

*Tim shrugs.*
I was curious as to what they said about me.

Mike is suddenly very very confused, because as far as he knows, Raph hasn't been home since November, and the only person he brought back to the lair was Indy.
no subject
Maaaagic.
no subject
There's a smile threatening to break...
no subject
Er... sure, why not?
no subject
Reaching over to grab Tim's shoulder.
"It's good to have you back."
no subject
Good to be back.
