Multipup

Creedy is out back, enjoying the cool fall breeze, the soon-to-be-gone green of the grass and the waving of the trees. A black cat has curled up near his feet, though there's no telling whose she is as her master isn't about and doesn't seem to be outside. He doesn't mind much, though. The cat gets scritched every so often in between bites of breakfast and he'll be happy for an interruption.

Cooper is inside at the bar having a drink. Of tea. And a good cold breakfast. He's not really the talkative type, but you're welcome to try.

Matt is in one of the booths, still working on a letter. He can't seem to get the wording quite right, or fit his meaning to a single page and it's driving him a little up the wall. For a man who used words so powerfully, he's beginning to wonder if this IS hell if only for the writer's block.

[ooc: mun has to attend meeting; back in an hour or so] BACK!

Ah, no wonder the poor man was outside here! It sounded far more dismal a place than even the Wastes had been She let a rumble escape her throat...and hoped it sounded sympathetic.

He chuckles.

"Thanks, love. But this is enough, really. And you're a lovely leopard, really."

It was strange, so many of the people here were prone to flattery, though now that she's finally gotten some meat back on her frame she may start to believe them. With aharsh, coughing chuckle, she padded further towards him, eyeing the cat and twitching her tail.

Janette, the black cat (not that Creedy knows that) just sort of settles in her spot. She's not going to be any hastle.

"Can you talk?"

She twitched her ear gently at the cat then looked up as he asked. It was truly strange to see a leopard shift from foot to foot, not to pounce but in uncertainty. It would be improper not to do so after such a question...

But she'd have to return to human...and she was only wearing a shift in that form. Finally she settled for nodding an assent.

"Don't let me make you uncomfortable, love," he says with a grin. "You can just sit and listen to me chatter if that's easier."

Janette the cat yawns.

That is a reprieve she is glad to accept, she settled back in the grass, a whisker's length away, paws tucked neatly under herself.

She was always prone to listening over speaking in any form.

"So I'm assuming you're not always a leopard?"

Since she said she could speak, sort of, but hadn't been able to as a leopard.

She nodded again, tail flicking against the grass. She also offered a Leopard grin...which may not be as comforting as it was meant to be.

It's nothing to a dragon... well, whatever expression a dragon had on, it wasn't a good one. So he doesn't twitch.

"Ahh. That's nice. I might like that, if I could. Being able to change. Bet you're fast, yeah?"

He gets that leopard laughing pant again.

Fast...yes. Fast enough.

But that doesn't mean he'd like it, and the paw poke illustrates that.
