"Free of charge counselling sessions free of charge!" Says one screeching Dalek as it floats down the stairs. "Free Horoscope and palm-reading, as well. Find emotional well-being despite your frail human psyches!"

Dalek is always botherable.

Oh, incidents. She knows all about incidents.

Wisely, “Did your cauldron melt?”

"No. I started believing I was a human businessman," It sounds quite distressed. "I do not know why."

“Oh dear. That must have been troublesome for a… a… you.”

"A Dalek!" Screeched. "You do not know of the Daleks?!"

She leans back a little at the screech, wincing.

“I’m afraid not, no.”

"All have heard of the Daleks!"

With a cheerful smile, Luna pats the Dalek on its top.

“I haven’t.”

Dalek scoots out of the way before her hand can touch it. Because people being accidentally set on fire - Not good even if you are a killing machine.

"This is an outrage!"

“Tell me about the Daleks then,” she suggests. “And I’ll tell you about Lunas.”

"We were the Supreme Masters of the Universe!"

Hugging her legs, she rests her chin on her knees and gazes up at it.

“Was it fun?”

"Fun is a concept created by inferior beings!"

“I suppose it might be. But it’s still fun.”

"No, it is not."

“Have you ever tried?”

"Fun is an inferior concept! Daleks do not degrade themselves with it!"

“But if you don’t try,” she points out patiently, “you don’t know.”

"Daleks do not need to try to know!"

“Why not?”

"Because we are superior beings."

“But why shouldn’t superior beings have fun too?”

She frowns, shaking her head. Daleks make no sense.

"I have already explained that!"

“Not very well, I’m afraid.”

"That's your own fault for not listening properly."

Cheerfully, “I can’t help it. I’m only an inferior being, you know.”
