Atton's at a booth, mechanical parts (all of the mostly circular variety) and curved bits of sharp metal floating in the air above him, being carefully put together.

Which evidently means his powers are either back or on their way back. This pleases Atton lots, which is why he seems in a particularly chirpy mood.

Botherable.

Belle's had a lot to think about over the past few days.

So distraction by floating shiny things is most welcome. "Whacha makin'?"

She's curious, but doesn't seem to be particularly awed.

"I'm trying to make a spinning-vibroblade-disk. Something that I can control telekinetically, with enough cutting power to slice through Mandalorian iron. 'S pretty difficult, I'm using parts of other weapons - I'd use bits of vibroaxes, but they're far too heavy. So I'm having to just use regular sickles, and modify them into vibroblades - Wanted to make them into a lightsaber-disk, but that's kriffin' impossible. You'd need a circular generator, which doesn't exist. And a circular crystal, which definitely doesn't."

Pause.

Another pause.

"Sorry. I'm rambling at you."

She chuckled and sat down, being in a presumptuous mood. "'S okay. I get dat a lot. Name's Belladonna."

She extended a small, callused hand for him to shake.

"Atton Rand." Atton says, taking his eyes off the floating parts for a moment to shake her hand. His own is fairly callused, and there's a burnt stump where the ring finger should be. "Drawn by the shining objects, I take it?"

"Oui. Happens. Fond o' shiny t'in's. I heard y' say lightsaber, right?"

Not that she's altogether surprised, but, still, even she has her moments of geekness.

"Yeah," Grin. "'S the best lightsaber ever. 'Cause it's mine." This is, clearly, a good reason.

She giggles and nods. "Feel de same 'bout m' knives. Y' some kinda Jedi, den?"

"Yep. Just barely, the whole being good and calm and peaceful thing ain't really my style. But I'm a pretty kriffin' fantastic Force user. And lightsaber user." He flicks his hand, calling a smaller than normal lightsaber (handle-hilt-thingy made for one handed use, instead of two) that looks like it was made out of whatever was lying around. And ignites it, making a long, glowing silver blade come from the end.

Belle, to her credit, refrains from any and all Spaceballs quotes that might normally have slipped out.

"Shit, 's long as y' get de awesome laser sword, who cares 'bout de rest?"

"Exactly. So long as I've got an awesome weapon, and the ability to smash large, durable objects with my brain, I'm good," Beat. Gesture at parts in the air. "Hence, this. Maybe I should put strobe lighting on it, that'd be both cool and surprising."

"Disco Jedi. Sounds like fun."

She waves down a waitrat and orders a whiskey. "'S long as y' doan get caught."

She blinks. "Usually de goal, though, I guess if y' usin' strobe lights dat ain't so much de case."

And there is a Fett in the Bar. Mildly bored, since his...current business arrangements aren't keeping him busy. He does, however, note that Atton seems to be doing...something odd. "What are you doing?"

Yeah, he's bored.

"Making a weapon," Atton grins at Fett, cheerfully, because yay - Someone else who might share his fanboy glee over sharp objects and things that go boom. "Sorta a vibroblade-disk, thing. Something I can control with telekinesis."

Beat.

"Actually. You could help me - I need it to have enough cutting power to get through Mandalorian Iron without much difficulty. People I'm fighting right now have a lot of Mando Iron armour - They're not Mandalorians, the vast majority, so y'won't be betraying your species. Drink?"

Blink. "Who has Mandalorian Iron in their armor who isn't a Mandalorian?" Pause. "And what would you want me to do?"

Ahhh...Boba Fett, the eternal businessman.

"As much as Mandalorians try and keep a monopoly on it, I'm pretty certain it can be produced and worn by non-Mandalorians. In this case, a bunch of Sith soldier-cultist-things. Ritually mutilate themselves." Atton says, not looking away from the floating parts. "And I'm not sure. I think we established before that Mandalorian Iron in my time is a lot less durable than it is in yours, but how much would it take t'cut through yours? Roughly."

A pause.

"Don't worry, I don't intend t'start cutting you up any time soon. If I did that, who would I irritate all the time? Priorities, man."

Fett ponders the question now that Atton has...rather assured him that it's not Mandalorians. However...he's not quite ready to roll. This is Fett, after all. "How do I know you're not lying?"

"Because I'm the most honest guy ever?" Atton says cheerfully. "Or, y'know, because I have no reason t'cut you up."

Right. "I find that people often find reasons to cut eachother up after they get good weapons, not before."

"But, even if I got a good weapon - And I already have plenty of them, by the way - I'd still have no reason t'make with the cutting."

"Alright. Assume I buy that you're not planning to use this on me later." I did go after him that one time, after all... "What's in it for me?"

"Well. If we get into another scuffle I'll use it on you. But I won't injure you badly with it, because then we wouldn't be able to get into any more scuffles. As for what's in it for you," Shrug. "The joy of my company?"

Somehow, that doesn't quite cut it, and Fett glances over at his Bar tab. On purpose. "This weapon appears around the Bar, I'll have more trouble catching bounties..."

Like he's had so much luck so far?

"Oh, please, I'm not going t'start making these and distributing them around the bar. This is for my personal use, not for giving t'other people." Atton says. "And c'mon, how many in bar successes have you had, anyway?"
