Atton's at a booth, mechanical parts (all of the mostly circular variety) and curved bits of sharp metal floating in the air above him, being carefully put together.

Which evidently means his powers are either back or on their way back. This pleases Atton lots, which is why he seems in a particularly chirpy mood.

Botherable.

"I'd offer t'go back with you and deal with him - Regular good samaritan, I am - but I take it y'have t'do this on your own."

"Way o' de world. 'Sides, killin' him's too good. I've got somet'in' mo' interestin' planned. Bit o' justice."

She smiles wickedly. "Least I c'n do f'r 'im."

"See, now I'm interested." Atton grins.

She smiles, her eyes sharp as razors. "He got m' husband exiled over a year ago. Merely goan return de favor. He's worm food inna year, so no sense killin' him when I c'n break him 'n' watch his face as he realizes he's not'in' anymo'. Jes' a corpse too stupid t' lay down."

"Cruel," Shrug. "But he sounds like he deserves it."

She makes a face. "Oui. He's not even supposed t' be alive. Got brought back t' life specifically t' steal m' power. So, no sense in mercy. He ain't goan have none f'r me if he wins."

"'Course." Atton nods.

The arrival of food seems to brighten her mood considerably. "'Sides, he pulled m' hair one too many times as a kid."

It's meant as a joke, because the real reason she hates him so much is too mind breaking for her to contemplate.

"Ah, well. That's an even better reason, y'know?" Grin. "Can't go messing with the hair, after all."

"Damn right."

Her smile is wide and easy, before she begins to eat. "Y' got any real family?"

Best to find out about as many of the people invading her home as possible, after all.

"All dead, except my brother, who I barely know and who thinks I abandoned him." Atton says flatly. "He doesn't know about this place."

She looks sympathetic and takes a drink of her beer before replying. "Me too. 'Cept f'r my brother bein' de afore mentioned creep. Guess t'in's're universally rough, huh?"

"Yeah, it'd seem like it."

She nodded. "Party's good f'r everyone, den. Nice t' have a night where y' c'n get drunk, dance badly, 'n' have a good time."

"Sounds like a pretty kriffin' brilliant idea t'me." Grin.

"Bon! Jes' hafta make sure de kids have a substitute teacher f'r de day after. Be a lil embarrassin' t' hafta shuffle people out early so baby assassins c'n learn t' read."

Eyebrow.
"Assassins come in baby form?"

"I've been usin' weapons since I was two. We catch 'em early, so we c'n train dem t' be de bes' on Eart'. Get contracts from everywhere, because we're born 'n' bred professionals."

She shrugs.

"Better den workin' f'r fast food, I suppose."

"I imagine a lifetime of training would make them pretty good."

She shrugged. "We pay f'r it, o' course. Average lifespans' 1/3 o' a normal person's. But oui, we're damn good at what we do."

"Hazard of the profession." Atton says lightly, shrugging.

"Yeah." She shrugs as well. "'Sides, as I recall Jedi start young, don't dey?"

"I wouldn't know. I only found out I was Force Sensitive a little over a year ago, and the new order is so small it can't afford to be picky - All the Jedi got wiped out," Atton shrugs. He helped with the wiping out. "Only reason I'm one of the most powerful Jedi in the Order is because I learn very quickly and had a very good teacher."

"I see. Well, dere's somet'in' t' be said f'r bein' quick t' learn."

"Yeah. I always was a really quick learner - At some things, anyway. Couldn't read or write until I was almost twenty."
