There's a brunette sitting across the bar from me, chattering away with Bob. Slayer's sister. Though, mostly, she goes by Dawn.

She suggested that as a precursor to Earth's Independence Day tomorrow, that we have, as tonight's specials, the following:

"Watch it, or I'll start calling you 'grasshopper' too."

[mago_sonriente]

"That would require me calling you 'master'," he answers with a laugh.

"I can live with that."

[mago_sonriente]

He raises an eyebrow.

"Something I should know about you and that apprentice of yours?"

He's kidding. Entirely.

"I've been trying to keep that S&M thing under control, but it just keeps slipping out."

Closest I've come to bondage or alternative lifestyle sex was that time with Susan.

"She uh, kinda takes care of all the S&M by herself," he points out with a laugh.

[wizard_dresden]

"Yeah, I know. First night as my apprentice, had to douse her in ice water to cool her off."

[mago_sonriente]

He laughs.

"You know, I wish I could ask if you're kidding..."

[wizard_dresden]

"By the tone of your question, I assume you know that I'm not."

[mago_sonriente]

"I've met Molly..."

And he looks mildly nervous as he looks around.

"You know she's here, right?"

[wizard_dresden]

"Yeah, Ramirez. I know she's here. Hell, I've been asked by Will Scarlet if he can court her. Weirdest conversation ever."

[mago_sonriente]

He's chuckling, his shoulders shaking as he laughs, eyes sparkling with mirth.

"And what did you say? Did you discuss it with her father?"

[wizard_dresden]

"Are you out of your mind? I can't tell Michael about that. Besides, here, I'm the closest she's got to a guardian. But he's been warned. Honestly, Charity might be a bigger threat than Mcihael."

[mago_sonriente]

"From what you've told me about her?"

And what he knows about women?

"I wouldn't be surprised."

[wizard_dresden]

"By the way, you're deputy on that gig. You've gotta help keep an eye on her or Charity will kill me."

[mago_sonriente]

He shakes his head and holds his hands up.

"Oooh no, no way, man. I'm not getting involved in that. I don't get paid enough for that, man."

[wizard_dresden]

"Neither do I. That's why you're my first officer on this ship."

Probably the only time I'll ever get to be the captain.

He gives Harry a long look.

"You owe me, amigo."

[wizard_dresden]

"Yeah yeah... next time you can drive the dino."

[mago_sonriente]

He snorts.

"Whatever you say, man."

He looks at Harry.

"How bout you fight for breakfast tomorrow morning?"

[wizard_dresden]

"Are you kidding? I'm already down a hand as it is."

[mago_sonriente]

"You could try for the pity ploy," he offers.

[wizard_dresden]

I shake my head. "Nah, those kids wouldn't buy it."

[mago_sonriente]

"Excuses, excuses."

He looks up at Harry.

"How've you been doing with your kids?"
