There's a brunette sitting across the bar from me, chattering away with Bob. Slayer's sister. Though, mostly, she goes by Dawn.

She suggested that as a precursor to Earth's Independence Day tomorrow, that we have, as tonight's specials, the following:

"I... totally haven't been hiding out here since last night," he says with a grin, settling at the bar.

"No, of course not, because then I'd have to call you a chickenshit." I grin.

"I figured my way here," he says with a grin. "Without getting picked up randomly. You didn't even notice, did you?"

[wizard_dresden]

"What?"

Please to be not confusing the barely half-awake wizard... that'd be me, by the way.

"You didn't notice I was gone? Me leaving?"

He grinned.

"It was a pretty well done piece of work."

[wizard_dresden]

"Carlos, I hardly noticed me leaving."

[mago_sonriente]

"That's because you're getting old," he says with a wink.

"Red wine, please."

She hasn't changed much, except, for once, she's not had the crap beaten out of her recently.

"Shit. Wait. Damn. Um, grape juice."

Yep, same Belle.

I arch an eyebrow. "You sure? I could mix the two."

Blink.

He doesn't remember her.

Yes! Alcohol!

"Sure. Merci."

Assassins: not known for their honesty.

[It's not that he doesn't remember her - he does - it's more that he doesn't remember all of the finer details...and his mun has brain of swiss cheese]

"Uh, Harry..."

"What?"

"Don't you think you should check ID?"

I roll my eyes, then lightly glare at the girl across the bar. "Grape juice it is, my dear." I wag a finger. "It's not nice to pull trick on tired, grumpy wizards." Even if that was partially my fault for not paying attention.

She laughed a bit and the mun apologizes for not mentioning it in the initial tag

"My ID says 21." She notes. But she's already accepted the grape juice.

"I've known people younger than you who've tried to pull off 21 or older."

So there's this woman sitting at the bar and eyeing up the barman.

"Hey handsome, care to get a lady a drink?" she asks with a flirtatious smile.

"Woo - you bet. Can I get a kiss too?"

[capt_angie]

"Bob, the day you can cross that bar under your own steam, without needing to be carried by anyone, you can have a kiss. Untill then you'll just have to dream."

[wizard_dresden]

"Dammit."

Dawn's giggling and Bob's pouting.

I lean over the bar and look her in the eye - which I can do whenever I want, because I've seen her - "And what would the pretty lady like to drink?" And yes, I only do that to irritate Bob.

Angie glances at the specials quickly.

"Red wine sounds okay to me." And because she can she leans over the bar and gives Harry a brief kiss. Also, it'll probably irritate Bob ;)

Very nice.

"I'll see what I can dig up."

There's suddenly a glass of wine sliding across the bar for her.

And Bob's grumbling at Dawn.

"Hey there"

"Can I have a Blue Motorcycle please"

"Sure thing. Need anything on the side? Pretzels, peanuts, those weird paradox things that taste different to everyone?"

I slide both the drink and a dish of pretzels across the bar. "Though, you really should give the paradoxes a try."
