Gil dances into the bar and up to the notice board where he pins a large sheet of cardboard where he has written the following in big loopy letters:
Dear Customers and Staff of Milliways,
We are terribly terribly delighted to imform you that Bernard Mickey Wrangle - our esteemed head Barman - is now AWAKE, though not yet fit to receive scads and scads of visitors. However, tokens of affection may be passed on to him by Miss Tonks, or members of the kitchen staff.
I'm sure you would like to join us in wishing him a speedy recovery.
He has drawn a smilie faun underneath and this time he means it.

Get well soon, Bernard!
We all miss you, and the bar isn't the same without you.

Bernard:
Welcome back.
Thank God you're awake. I only wish I could have been there when you woke up.
The Weasley twins called while you were sleeping. I believe they want more explosives. They have also threatened to exterminate the person who hurt you and the bar. Personally, I believe them.
I'll be by later to see how you're doing. (Healer's privileges.)
I'm glad you're back. You have been sorely missed.

never talked to you much but the bar wasn't the same with you unconscious and all comas aren't fun so I hear glad you're feeling better. Meg Giry.
*She also leaves a scarf, because, well, they make everything better, don't they?
It has firecrackers embroidered on it.*

Inside, it reads:
Bernard,
Heard you're doing better. Glad to hear it. Let me know when you're up to talking shop.

Bernard,
Glad you're better.
I was getting kind of worried there, for a bit.

We only met once (I believe you were present when I brought back provisions after the abduction of the bar), but what hurts you hurts this bar and everyone in it. I'm pleased to hear of your recovery and hope to speak more to you henceforth.
Respectfully submitted,

Bernard,
It is wonderful to hear that you have awoken, and I wish you a speedy recovery. I am curious to know if Bar will wake soon, though it is clear her slumber continues for the moment. *there is a splotch of ink, as if he intended to write more, hesitated a moment, then changed his mind*
Yours most sincerely,
Broom
