Kestrel is in a booth.
It's hard to say if she's been there all night, or if she went up to her room at some point, and has merely already come downstairs.
At some point, she'll go looking for coffee.

She starts awake from where she's been dozing slightly as her mun is in a computer class.

"Just thought I should introduce myself, so when you go looking for your instructors, you know who I am. If anyone's interested in sword fighting or just generic fencing."
no subject
She shrugs.
"That's awesome, though - I'm glad that people are expressing an interest in the idea, though. And I know I'd like to learn, if I can... are you just planning to teach those, or were there any other things you'd have an interest in?"
She sits up, and looks like she's trying to wake up more.
"For that matter, is there anything you'd like a chance to learn more about? I might start going around and actually asking people if they'd like to teach, in case they haven't seen the sign."

"Well, I also know a great deal about antique pottery, but I'm not sure how many would be interested in that."
He pauses to sip his tea.
"And, my view on history might not be what most would want to hear, but I can help in that respect as well, if needed. The sword play is my forte, though."
"As for learning - I'm sure there's something I don't know yet." And the smile reappears - a little bigger - it's still early.

"Antique pottery? Any particular reason why?"
no subject
"That's what's in my shop - among other things. I'm an antique dealer. The sword fighting stuff just seemed like it would get more attention."
[ooc: mun going to lunch for an hour - will poke in after that. *g*]

[ooc: No problem - am doing a bit of that myself right now]

There's a bit of a wistful look in her eyes.
"What's your favorite place you've ever traveled, anyway?"
no subject
"Favorite place where someone chased me or favorite place where I went voluntarily?" he asks with a chuckle.
no subject
She leans back in the booth, stretching her legs out a bit, and laughs. "Are they different? Sure, go ahead and tell me both?"
no subject
He smiles - yeah, the smiles are getting a little bigger as the day goes on. "Of course. Being chased, my favorite place was, probably... Italy, travelled to on my own - Japan."

After a moment, she replies.
"You're... not actually the oldest person I've met. I think."

She smiles a little at him.
"You still make me feel really young, though. I'm only in my twenties."
no subject
He slides his empty cup into the middle of the table.
"If it makes you feel any better, I died - the first time - when I was eighteen."
no subject
"Noo... can't say that that really does, actually. Wait, the first time? How many times have you died?" She raises an eyebrow.
no subject
"A few. Seven or eight during the duel in Boston alone. Crazy Baron," he snorts.
no subject
"... care to explain?"
no subject
no subject
"That... heh. I don't know what to say to that, really, but... my question was more, how you could die seven or eight times and still consider yourself alive..."
