Roshaun is eyeing the crystal ball, wondering if it's an unfamiliar form of a wizard's manual. It'd be good to find someone he can trust without thinking about it, in this strange place.

The man drops his eyes from the crystal ball, rubbing his temples. He catches sight of Roshaun out of the corner of his eye, and turns to face the boy with a small smile. "Not too familiar with second sight, then?"

"I've heard of it in the abstract", Roshaun answers. "But I've had no personal experience. Should I take it that isn't a manual, then?"

"...no," says Dominic, raising an eyebrow. "Who would put a manual in a crystal ball? No one who actually needed it would be able to use it."

"Except for the kind I mean", Roshaun says patiently, "in which case only the one who actually needed it would be able to use it."

"A wizard's, of course. It's not beyond imagination one might come in a form like that."

"Hey, Dot," says Bob, looking over his shoulder with a warm smile. "Yeah, I've got a couple of ideas, have a look..." He pushes a small stack of brochures toward her.

Dot settles herself into the chair next to him, thumbing through the stack. "Vancouver, New Orleans, San Francisco," Oh yeh, Bob stayed there a while with Suzi and Whistler. "I was thinking about seeing New York as well.."

The two bots start a little bit and then roll over a little ways.

This time they're staring from just a little bit in front of Dominic, he looks like another one of the Users around here. So they're just a tad ....curious as to what he's doing.

The only thing that's stopping them from picking up that ball and examining it is the look on Dominic's face.

"Hello. I don't do much scrying myself - in most cases it's somewhat tiring, so I save it for emergencies. A friend of mine tried enchanting some windows to make the work easier, but I remember those having a tendency to explode when the spell got overtaxed."
